Please don't spam the thread, NP posts are not acceptable. Especially not when Power Metal.

SKoRioN 04-12-2005 04:57 AM

Good morning/afternoon/evening boys, girls and those who just haven't decided yet.

I'm kinda new here, thought I'd just pop in and say hello. Oh and before you try it I've already had my lunch money along with my dignity taken away so you're too late...

superpeer 04-12-2005 04:57 AM

Hello, new one.

sickgoregrind 04-12-2005 05:08 AM

Anyone on the recent Priest tour?

Otherside 04-12-2005 05:59 AM

Old or new avatar?

munky_magik 04-12-2005 06:07 AM

Have both Leeds and Reading actually sold out? Because if they have I'm going to get mauled by people :(

Lord Abortion 04-12-2005 06:09 AM

not sure- might have leeds has, I hear
don't quote me on it though

Josh 04-12-2005 06:09 AM

i think reading may have sold out, but i'm not sure. there are still leeds tickets available. Leeds
Reading

munky_magik 04-12-2005 06:11 AM

The weekend tickets have sold out for Leeds from there at least, which is bollocks.
The Wildhearts haven't been announced as playing, yet, and they would probably be the only band I would end up seeing.

Also, it's more than completely unfair that you can only buy tickets from person at certain stores. Not one of which is in Scotland

both are sold out over internet and phone line- try HMV

LarsAgi007 04-12-2005 06:47 AM

Yes, a few places have sold out of them, But there are certain places where you can get them, Its just a case of general searching.

Jesus, guys...

... if it only takes ten minutes to make a new page in this thread, there is no way that there is no spam in it :-\

Just in case people don't have an IM service.

Yeah, but look at the content of the posts (oic, 123, etc.)... it's comparable to what Bartender called "chat room material."

The posts may not be very long, but the majority of them have decent content.
Well, at least after they realised that they should stop spamming on page 50.

Lord Abortion 04-12-2005 08:01 AM

hmmm. I thought that was the point of a community thread

munky_magik 04-12-2005 08:02 AM
hmmm. I thought that was the point of a community thread
The point of a community thread isn't to spam, however, which was happening an awful lot.

Kurtz 04-12-2005 08:03 AM
hmmm. I thought that was the point of a community thread
The point isn't really to spam.

More about having full-on conversations about everyday life.

Hi this is the evil girlfriend speaking

Shred Danson 04-12-2005 08:52 AM

How can we be so sure (to 'Peer)?

And AH is right, dudes. Keep the posting to a minumum level. It's OK to post, but not to just mindlessly spew crap forth from your mouth that has no meaning. Bartender will probably shut this down if everyone keeps on treating this like an AOL chatroom. You don't want that to happen to our precious community thread, do you?

Yes.

One big thing you people should all do, cut down on the "sup" posts that only contain a word of greetings to a person who just joined and thread. Also keep all "what's up?" posts out as well.

Only post those things if your post has more substance backing it, not just some one or two word post.
