I went and saw Fantastic 4, it was pretty cool, but when The Human Torch discovers his powers they played Noots by this particular band and I started freaking out
cone is an awesome bassist, he just doesn't care enough to write hard parts
Thats the worse excuse ever.

Bad Blood 07-12-2005 02:47 AM

How can you not care enopugh to write good music. Surely music is a very large part of his life.

that's pretty awsome. sum 41 songs are used in alot of movie soundtracks.

Castor Riff 07-12-2005 09:05 PM

Yeah, the bonus tracks Subject to Change, Noots and Moron are pretty good. Subject to Change sounds similar to No Reason, in the way the chorus is sung (and Deryck uses that "so how long, has this gone, I don't see this ending" in Subject to Change as well). The guitar to Noots sounds really similar to the guitar in Still Waiting.

go to purevolume.com and search for Sum 41, there will be three, click on the one that says something in close relation to "Sum 41 (Real)" and it's the only song in there, or you can buy the Fantastic 4 soundtrack, or you can buy the 7" vinyl single of We're All To Blame and it's on side B, or you can download it, or you can have someone else download it and e-mail or IM it to you, hope that helps, it's an amazing tune, it's also on the UK version of Chuck

WWVII Part I & II and Reign In Pain (Heavy Metal Jamboree) great songs, they're on the UK versions of DTLI and they're in the DVD under (if memory serves correct) Pain For Pleasure, but you have to have Cross You're T's And Gouge Your I's, it's not on Live At the Astoria In London..hope this all helps

I didn't say "good music", I said "hard parts", read next time and you might catch that, anyways, he's probably just lazy, besides, his parts are harder than alot of punk related bands, and it doesn't matter, majority of S41 fans don't care about bass anyways, I do, but that doesn't mean a whole lot

okay, I'm going to clear this up once, Noots and STC are bonus Chuck tracks, but Moron was done as a side project for Rock Against Bush Vol. 1, it has absolutely no relation to Chuck whatsoever except for the band that recorded it, anyways, yeah, it kinda chaps my hide that STC and NR are so similar, but I don't really care too much, NR is a great song

TheBassicBassist 07-12-2005 10:15 PM

I got the Motivation EP today, it's awesome, it has Motivation (from AKNF) and it has All She's Got (live), Crazy Amanda Buckface (live), and What We're All About (live from HHOP, not Spiderman soundtrack) and it's really cool, I got it in this awesome tin can thing, not the cd case dealy from amazon
