I'm not a fan of Ed Gein. I kind of don't consider them all that grind, but that's just me.

Also, keep in mind you're comparing an entire region to one state.

Cattle Decap is so good.

but they only play the west coast which sucks for us trying to get the grind out, out in the southeast (aka the boondocks).

Nah, they're pretty cool guys. They're just jerks if you smoke or throwdown which is understandable. I do neither so I'm safe. I talked to the bassist and drummer for a while with the singer from Animosity at a show once. That was while Curl Up and Die was playing because they suck.

P.S. Leng T'Che Suck. At least, Death By A Thousand Cuts sucked. It's toughguy crap.

I like Curl Up And Die.

I have heard from numerous people (who do not smoke or throwdown) that the guys in Ed Gein are jerks.

They're awfully righteous at least. Their website reads like a Shai Hulud booklet.

Ed Gein were going to play here, and I was supposed to see them, but they're van broke down. I was real dissapointed.

That happened like last year. They had a bunch of stuff stolen out of their van too.

Ah, I didn't know they had stuff stolen. That really sucks.

I don't got links but I can list some bands if ye wanna look 'em up, although most are crust, anarcho is still scarce:
[B]Signal Lost[/B] - melodic, similar to AFI but very political
[B]Severed Head of State[/B] - They're a bit crusty but it's more a collaboration band as Todd is from PDX, and their bassist is form Europe er some [COLOR="White"]s[/COLOR]hit.
[B]Century of War[/B] - more crusty hc punk, but ye still might like 'em.
[B]World Burns to Death[/B] - see previous

I put crust before anarcho as it's mostly crust with alot of anarcho influence
