Well maybe I did and then I just forgot about it...

Hehe, nice paint skills :thumb:

edit: no avatar talk. I knows, it's my rule. But I just had to comment on it on the side of classic rock talk.

zventon 12-05-2004 02:22 PM

Anybody ever heard the Little River Band's first album? (and for ppl that are planning on insulting me because im a noob, dont bother cuz im still staying)

Badmoon 12-05-2004 02:23 PM

screw it, my avatar rules.
screw it, my avatar rules.
I agree, it's really funny. Now Rocknotroll will come in here and kill me for talking about avatars.

jpj 12-05-2004 02:28 PM

Yea it does. I think we should be allowed to talk about them if they're classic rock related.

My dad likes The Little River Band, but I've never heard them.

I don't care if we talk about avatars, it was a joke because Badmoon always gets upset when we talk about them, and then he talked about his.

Irony++

Classic Rock--

Listen to Jimi Hendrix.

Broken Arrow 12-05-2004 02:35 PM

I should make Neil into Frosty:eek:!!

Yeah I can remember one time Badmoon told Rock Jerry was dead. Rock said he was going to kidnap him and Bob Dylan and make them preform for him...until he found out Jerry was dead.

BludgeonySteve 12-05-2004 02:36 PM

Hehe, no Hendrix for me right now. Right now is Lynyrd Skynrd time :thumb: (plus some CCR of course).

jpj 12-05-2004 02:38 PM

Right now is Mule time.....ALL THE TIME IS MULE TIME!!!

But soon it will be Dead time, or another yet to be decided jam band.

BludgeonySteve 12-05-2004 02:39 PM

JPJ is slowly becoming a hippy ;)

magicbus 12-05-2004 02:40 PM

I know the Sgt Peppers cover by Hendrix is on the Blue Wild Angel dvd, I've watched it a few times. Very cool :thumb:

In other Hendrix dvd news, I saw "Band of Gypsies" and "Live at Woodstock" today, and was freaking out cause I didn't have enough money. I think I'll get them for christmas.

Broken Arrow 12-05-2004 02:40 PM
I wish I hosted a classic rock radio show.:(
That would own. The other day my dad was telling me about how awesome FM radio used to be, because they used to play lesser-known stuff from bands. Or other times they would play a new song, then play a few songs by that same band from previous albums(mostly not the crazy popular stuff).

Heh, nowadays they just play the same music over and over again. In the last 6 months, they've added maybe 5 songs to the rotation on my local classic rock station.

Yea that's what they do. I hear Sympathy for the Devil even when I don't listen to the radio.

Broken Arrow 12-05-2004 03:00 PM

Well. I went SOTCD although I could of just as well picked My Generation. If it were the live versoin from Live at Leeds I would have picked it.:)

Thanks for the Rep, Livewired.

gmoneyguy 12-05-2004 03:22 PM

Rock what did you get banned for?

jpj 12-05-2004 03:24 PM
Rock what did you get banned for?
I don't think he knows yet.

I like Working Man's Dead a little more every time I listen to it.

BludgeonySteve 12-05-2004 03:26 PM

I have no **** clue what I got banned for. I haven't posted anything worthy of a ban. I'll just post on this account since I don't deserve a ban.

It would be fun to host a radio show. Kim Mitchell's show in Toronto is awesome ;)

Woodstock 12-05-2004 04:12 PM

Cool, I updated my avatar, and got:

Jimi Hendrix-Live at Woodstock
Miles Davis-Kind of Blue

FreebirdTPM 12-05-2004 07:43 PM

I hope everyone caught that magical Bob Dylan interview!

Jim Spoon 12-05-2004 07:44 PM

was it good

FreebirdTPM 12-05-2004 07:51 PM

Yeah, that guy is pretty amazing, he's on like a whole 'nother level..kinda funny what he said about his song-writing abilities too.

Woodstock 12-05-2004 07:53 PM
Those are awesome.
Thanks, I wish I would've gotten more. The only version of All Things Must Pass is a "special" $27 one, and the only Hot Rats album I can find I would have to buy 2 other albums with it.

lunch998 12-05-2004 07:55 PM

Did anybody watch the Simpsons tonight? They had a joke about the Bob Dylan interview where they showed him just mumbling a bunch of things.

jpj 12-06-2004 05:59 AM
