So I have to say...The Vandals' cover of So Long, Farewell is mega quality. I think that every time I hear it but yeah.
I love that album. I almost made "Hitler Bad, Vandals Good" my yearbook quote one year, but then decided against it.

Haha, that would have been cool but no one would have gotten it :(

Tis a great album though, I agree.

Tyr 10-15-2007 03:33 PM

I don't think I've ever heard anything by the Vandals.

That sounds kinky but IDK coming from a guy.

>_>

Anyway as Imentioned before this weekend I took a bunch of artistic photographs of guanajuato. It was fun.

If you like classic Pop Punk you should definitely check them out. Hitler Bad, Vandals Good is a classic album.

Tyr 10-15-2007 03:39 PM

Cheers, I will do just that.

Anyway, last 5 pictures are the coolest, I think. I have to make a montage of the whole city.

Tyler 10-15-2007 03:46 PM

I like the first one. Nice S-Curve, and i really love the green effect fluorescent lights create. Unless it's really that colour.

Tyr 10-15-2007 03:48 PM

The sky above V and VI are my favourites, I think.

You use too much filter =\

And yeah I love landscape shots, those ar emy favorites.

Tyler 10-15-2007 03:49 PM

hahahaha, the University of Toronto football team lost their 48th straight game yesterday.
Toronto's last victory was a come-from-behind 13-11 decision over the Windsor Lancers during the 2001 season that ended an 18-game losing streak.
ty but yeah it looks greenish like that because of the lack of lighting, but indeed it's an awesome staircase. Very singular.

According to an architect friend it sucks. :p

And yeah it was overall fun. I took pictures of all Guanajuato like the city landscape, but it'll take a while to put together, I think.

Yeah.

Vince: Too much filter?

Hah, sad day. But it's not like Canadians can play American sports so meh.

Tojes: Whatever effect you're applying so that it gets fuzzy and the colors get less contrast. It makes them come out a little bit too blurry and too dream like for me.

You'd be surprised.

Football is the only 'American' sport anyways, and it's a little too homoerotic for me.

Kage 10-15-2007 04:07 PM

What about basketball and baseball?

Tyler 10-15-2007 04:08 PM
What about basketball and baseball?
basketball is Canadian. Baseball is British-American-Native.

Permanent Solution 10-15-2007 04:09 PM

Arguably lacrosse too.

edit: how is basketball canadian?

Tyler 10-15-2007 04:10 PM

Lacross is Canada's national sport. Native Canadians obviously 'created' it though.

A Canadian guy invented it.

In early December 1891, Dr. James Naismith,[1] a Canadian physical education student and instructor at YMCA Training School[2] (today, Springfield College) in Springfield, Massachusetts, USA, sought a vigorous indoor game to keep his students occupied and at proper levels of fitness during the long New England winters.

I don't think it was just Canadian Indians tbh.

I'm pretty sure it was the NE area like New York and Maine and such.

Pate: In America :p

Tyler 10-15-2007 04:13 PM

I went to school with this Nigerian kid. He moved to the US for basketball, got himself int o the top rankings in the country (he was like 3rd or 5th in the US on scouting reports) and then he arbitrarily went "eh, im done with basketball".

Kid had guaranteed millions and a guaranteed draft pick in the bag. C-c-c-c-crazy

Eh well regardless it was natives.

I'm so hungry.

Money isn't everything (it's just most of it :p)

Aye.

Me too.

In anticipation of Pate's rebuke: Ask yourself if America or Germany developed the atomic bomb and you have my reasoning.

Tyler 10-15-2007 04:17 PM
Money isn't everything (it's just most of it )
Totally, I respect his choice and everything I'm just saying...he could have played a year or two and then retired comfortably. Then he could have pursued his hobbies.

The thing is, when I knew the kid basketball was his hobby. He ways always saying how he'd "get mad honeys" when he hit the NBA.

Permanent Solution 10-15-2007 04:21 PM

Heh, maybe he just got burned out, ya never know.

Playing pro sports for even a couple of years can be bad though, if you get some sort of injury you're still screwed.

i am the robots 10-15-2007 05:09 PM

thats a bad career choice, imo

edit:

okay most awkward drug deal ever...

background story: my brother is my dealer,

anyhow we were on the staircase going upstairs, and my mom was down the hall, and we quickly snuck dollaz and buds between each other
