I don't get news from the TV. All they do is give a few quick statements and show some pictures. I use the internet and search all kinds of different news sources(Conservative and Liberal sources) and try to find the truth myself. Listening to politicians themselves is worthless, no matter who they are.

Anyways, i sway back to debate of Kerry and Bush.
Kerry is a better econimical leader than Bush. For Kerry's military career, he knows what the front is like, he was a nam vet. For all bush knows, he might think the front lines in war is like the movie Commando. Kerry threw away all his medals and badges from Nam becuase he belived it was a waste, as is Iraq.

Can someone please give me a source of Bush's military experiance? I feel that presidents with Military experince are better leaders in this kind of situation. But for enconmic reasons, i feel otherwise.

he was registered in the Texas State Air National Guard. he signed up right before they started drafting, his father got a friend to give him the job. he then decided to never actually show up for service, but still managed to not get into trouble.

A few things I have to say:

1) I can't stand people that think they know every side, and build their case...I read the first four pages of this and skipped to the end, because everyone was saying the same thing, so I merely assume that it's Liberals over Conservatives, at at least 5:1.

2) I saw this topic and figured that most of you were Liberals...

3) I can't stand Liberals...I've never met a Liberal that was honest, and I've never heard of a conservative being liked by the public (Also, the last GOOD Liberal policy was the original welfare program...free jobs, not free money. That was FDR...say anything?)

4) If Kerry is voted into office, the country will more than likely go to hell in a handbasket...I don't know what his policies are...But, chances are, when he's voted in, people are gonna say "Why was he elected?" Then they'll remember..."Oh yeah, I don't have any foresight..."

5) Bush, while he does seem to have a sort of speech impediment, is a much better president than ya'll give him credit for...The main reason no one likes him is because the *Ahem* LIBERAL Media makes him out to be the big, bad nasty. I doubt many people here who say they've "Done their research" have seen the conservative side of the issue...

Now a list of things that a lot of people don't know:

1) Approximately 700 americans have died in the 19 or so months that we've been in Iraq..."The next Vietnam" is hardly what I'd call it...

2) Iraq embraces our presence...Iraqi Nationals are not the ones attacking American forces, it's radicals from other muslim countries that have had it pounded into their minds that "Americans = Infidels" (We can blame Clinton getting his corn buttered for that...)

3) The "Tax Cuts For The Rich are bad" ideal is moronic...the lower 90% of the american populace pays 30% of taxes...how can you cut that up? It benefits the country more if the highest taxes are cut down, doesn't it? the top 10% pay 70% of America's taxes. And, besides, the rich know what to do with money...Invest it...and that's what *most of them* do. And, as that happens, the economy grows stronger, and we come this much closer to paying off the national debt.

4) I am a lower middle class 15 year old who believes in the Conservative Ideal...So, my opinion doesn't matter, but I know enough about it to have an opinion.

Now that I've argued my case:

1) Kerry is trying everything he can to get elected...would you trust that in the president? That greed?

2) The war in Iraq was, and still is, very important to Global economy...If Saddam got enough power, he could have cut off a very very high percentage of the worlds oil, using it for his own benefit...

3) I'm not going to return to this thread...so I really don't care if you call me a stupid ****, or some other lame, stupid insult that only a person that wants Kerry in office would say...

4) The war started because *ahem* "According to British Intelligence Sources, Saddam Hussein is actively seeking weapons of mass destruction..."

If Bush could run again in 2008, I would vote for him...At least he has morals...not to mention the fact that he's a homegrown Texan.
