I'm in the gym 3 times a week for almost 3 months and I haven't lost a single pound.
Wow, that's a pretty cheap gym.

Who's with me? Up high?
If whey protein is a suppliment, you are correct.

Heres how to do it: Take whey protein before you workout, work on one part of your body (upper or lower) for an hour a day, and that is your workout. You can go upper, lower, rest, upper, lower for weekdays if you wish, thats what i do. I dont know what to say about how many calories you should take in per day because I dont know how much you weigh or what your weight goals are.

So basically: its very importaunt to take Whey Protein, that stuff gives you amino acids that..well...not sure how it does it but dammit, it makes you lose weight. Also you might wanna stick to a 2000 or lower calorie diet, I try to do that but I dont really count, I should though. = /

Oh, and I dont run at all, but you might want to.
How often do you work out? Everyday? I don't really plan on losing that much weight since I'm doing the One Set to Failure routine for my upper body right now and 20 minutes on bike. I heard supplements are quite pricey, and can have the same negative effects as anabolic steroids if you take in a lot.
Happymeal, if the last photo I saw of you is any indication, there's no way you need to lose any weight.
I packed some weight since then:p
Wow, that's a pretty cheap gym.
It's the school gym actually.

pixiesfanyo 05-22-2005 09:28 AM

So how about them Mars Volta owning the Weenie Roast?

I work out 4 days a week and have been doing so for the past 3 weeks. Whey protein can be purchased at a vitamin shop or maybe Costco. It wasnt too pricey (only $20) and it comes in a huge tub. Just put in two scoops (if you weigh over 150 lbs) and milk (might wanna add some sugar) and blend. You'll want to take this before you workout as it gives you energy and calories to burn during the workout.

I'm not familar with the One Set of Failure routine but hers what I do.

3x15 incline bench press
3x15 regular bench press
3x15 decline bench press
3x15 curls
3x15 u rows
60 sit ups
3x15 db flys

And that's an upperbody day, I guess thats what you're training so no need to explain lower body, but if you need me to just ask.
Explain.
They said " We don't feel like playing songs, so we are just going to mess around for an hour, this one is called "Aborition: The Other White Meat" "

Then they jammed, while Cedric typed on a typewriter.

P.S.

Your avatar is hilariously wrong.
So I saw Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds last night, and it was mindblowing. Best concert I've ever been to, just amazing. The Mercy Seat was insane.

Cat Power was the support, she wasn't so great. A bit too sedate. The songs ran into each other and were very samey, and she didn't interact with the crowd at all. Amazing voice though.
Exactly what I thought.
Ouch. In other good news, I found out last night that Sigur Ros and NIN will be coming to Australia which are two of the bands I want to see live most. I doubt NIN will be 18+ and I'm praying that Sigur Ros won't be. If it is I might just have to be naughty and try to get in anyway.
I made a thread about Sigur Ros. It will probably be 18+ since The Tivoli has always been 18+ when I've been there.

EDIT: I see you found it.

That's a good routine to trim down to, it looks intense actually! One Set to Failure is basically doing as many reps as you can until you can't lift anymore(only applies to your upper body workout). It's great for building up. I do a full body workout everytime so I guess the results aren't very immediate.

What you might wanna do is alternate days with parts of your body (upper /lower). If you can try to dedicate one day (1 hour about, depends if you take breaks inbetween) to your upper body and 1 day to lower body (if you want to). The thing is, also, to let yourt muscles rest, which is why I only have 2 upper days a week as well as 2 lower days. Having monday and thursday be your upper days would be good and I guess sometime inbetween you can do cardio/biking.

hmm yeah. I looked on their site and there were a few gigs and only one was 18+. But all the ones I've ever wanted to go to have been 18+ there, so I'm not getting my hopes up.

In some ways. "Brown Shoes Don't Make It" is possibly the greatest Mothers of Invention era Zappa tune.

I have actually. I don't like any of the other movies, never been a fan. But I got dragged to the latest one last night, and I thought it was fantastic. Just so dark and tragic and mostly steers clear of cutesy crap.

The dialogue is godawful clunky horrible cheesy bad. But you expect that.

Try not to laugh when Darth Vader gets told that Padme is dead and in a not-clichéd-at-all fashion looks to the sky and shouts "NOOOOO!!"

Overall I thought the movie was brilliant.
