Hey b_j.

heeeyy ;)

Japan3gro 12-03-2005 09:57 PM

Does anyone have The New Breed? Theres this rythm on like the first page where your right hand plays 16th notes (1e+a) and your left foot plays 1234. Is this supposed to be used with X-hats or just right hand and left foot hitting at the same time? lol

playwithfire 12-03-2005 09:57 PM

Hey b__j. Good to see you on here again, we all need breaks sometimes :thumb:.

As to that selling out bull****... it's almost always retarded little kids who think they are punk calling bands other people like "sellouts" while not realizing that by their definition their favorite little band called "The Used" that they went to see last month at the local arena is, by their definition, sellouts too .

rockindrummer 12-03-2005 10:10 PM

Hurry up with those pics will ya!

styler 12-04-2005 01:36 AM

man, i love that wet dream website at the bottom it had a link for a site called "the stroke"

that just made me crack up.

my order came in today for a 16" and an 18" HHX evolution crash, and an 18" Ozone Crash. going to pick them up tomorow..pics as soon as possible :D

rockindrummer 12-04-2005 01:40 AM

^^It was to bobby, who just got a new snare and cymbal.

Pics!! Score!

So what is everyone up to tonight?

mysticalyeti 12-04-2005 01:41 AM

Absolutely nothing D:

My goddamn snare hasn't arrived... auction ended monday and it's shipping from 4 hours away. Guy is taking his sweet *** time.

rockindrummer 12-04-2005 01:43 AM

^ That sucks man. It should have been there the next day not almost over a week.

mysticalyeti 12-04-2005 01:47 AM

Yeah, any shipping site gives the estimation as 1 day in transit.

...And the guy gave me feedback already o_o

My **** better not be lost somewhere D:

rockindrummer 12-04-2005 01:49 AM

That would suck, so much. What type of snare did you buy?

mysticalyeti 12-04-2005 01:55 AM

An old Mapex, it's aluminum. I wasn't able to find anything out about them (discontinued), but I got it for 100 bucks. I was looking into an ultracast, so I guess this is a pretty good deal. It's got some wear and needs a new batter, but woo at the price.

Auction link, if it feels like working (ebay can be weird about linking :/)

Jezen 12-04-2005 04:12 PM

Omfg I just played my 3rd concert, and it was sooo awesome. It was in the grand hall in The Sage, Gateshead.

rockindrummer 12-04-2005 04:14 PM

Mine's the classic 8 ball, you see yours is just a 3 ball.

Trev 12-04-2005 04:18 PM

I just made an 8 ball avatar with a santa hat and flapping tongue, but ImageReady crashed and I lost it. :(

edit - On an unrelated note, I hear Remo Practice Pads make a bit of noise, are they too loud for say, practising in a room at uni? I'm going to make some DIY electronic drums for when I go.

You're kidding? THE SAGE? You lucky bastard :(

Jezen 12-04-2005 04:27 PM

I'm making DIY e-drums for college. I'll use PVC piping, and mesh heads.

Sounds intriguing. What module are you thinking of getting? I think I'll probably get a DM5. After I've finished uni (heh, I won't even start uni for a couple of years), I'll incorporate it into my acoustic kit for effects and stuff.

rockindrummer 12-04-2005 04:49 PM

Patience I can achieve.

Jezen 12-04-2005 04:54 PM

I'm pretty intent on grabbing a DM4 or DM5.

Undisco Kidd 12-04-2005 04:57 PM

As much as I dislike electric kits (don't like the feel of them) I'll probably do teh same.

Der Meister 12-04-2005 04:58 PM

I made a ytmnd http://briandrivesohnoes.ytmnd.com/

Ill Mitch 12-04-2005 05:15 PM

Jezen 12-04-2005 05:18 PM

Demonoid? I don't even know what it is...

EDIT - Oh right I know what it is. Nah I don't use it, as eMule does me fine.

Der Meister 12-04-2005 05:21 PM
