:p

How's it goin' Shel?

ShelBel 10-11-2004 12:44 PM

LOL

Good Fox. I'm off work in less than an hour, I'm listening to a new CD, I just had a chicken and cheese quesadilla for lunch... Opera performance went well Friday (despite all odds) and I have a night to catch up on housework (my sink is ugly-full of dishes and the bathroom needs a good once over).

AND its gorgeous outside. I better enjoy it because its gonna get cold later this week (talking 40's for highs). But its perfect bonfire/hot tub weather. I love fall.

Jim Hull 10-11-2004 12:44 PM

I find photobucket is really slow.

Shel whats a quesadilla?? I'm glad the weather is nice for you. Its not too nice here :upset:

I went paintballing yesterday. Good times. It was beautiful out. I wanna get into paintballing, after I buy the 3 or so basses and the 500892314047198234-odd effects I want. :smash:

Working on stupid homework. :upset:

ScorpSath 10-11-2004 12:48 PM

Hey fackers vote on my bass war.

ShelBel 10-11-2004 12:48 PM

@ Jim: A quesadilla is generally two flour tortillas (like they se for soft-shell tacos) slightly browned on a grill and filled with cheese and various other things. I've had them with cheese, chicken, bacon, tomatoes, onions... Very yummy.

@ Fox: Ugh. I should be reading up on NetWare and ZenWorks but haven't gotten motivated yet. And I'm trying to learn DreamWeaver on top of it. Eesh.

PaulR 10-11-2004 12:49 PM

Its been so windy where I am.
It nearly blew me off my bike :O.
I have homework as well especially my maths work.
Failed a test on friday :(

e p 10-11-2004 12:52 PM

Hey

Foxfire 10-11-2004 12:52 PM

Science Fair is teh ghey.

PaulR 10-11-2004 12:53 PM

Science Fair?

Foxfire 10-11-2004 12:56 PM

Yep.

PaulR 10-11-2004 12:57 PM

Explain...

e p 10-11-2004 12:59 PM

It is a large project in school.

You have to forumulate an experiment, hypothesis, materials, thesis, etc. You also have to report on the topics covered.

Basically it is a ton of busy work.

Foxfire 10-11-2004 12:59 PM

Gladly. (shameless postcount++)

Every year I have to do a project of some sort. The stereotypical project is something with volcanoes (In movies, etc.). This accounts for 45% of my grade this semester.

I have to do some "original" project; I then have to do research on the backround of it. Then present it to the class, and possibly to judges; winning gets you to a city competition, then state, then national.

It's boring stuff. I'm running out of ideas. Thank God this is the last year I have to do this.

PaulR 10-11-2004 01:02 PM

Do something to do with bass.

I did mine two years ago and went to State at U of I and received an "outstanding".

/smug

Foxfire 10-11-2004 01:03 PM

I'm not dedicated enough, really.

I mean, I've won. But I'm lazy to do anything else. Just after a while I want to burn everything. :p

PaulR 10-11-2004 01:04 PM

Everything to do with school is just generally blaaaah.

Yeah it does get annoying.

The year after Science fair I had to do History fair. I bombed it for the sole intention of not wanting to go to state again.

Foxfire 10-11-2004 01:09 PM

You know what'd be cool?

If they gave out "Music Minority" scholarships.

:naughty:

Espbassor 10-11-2004 01:11 PM

Yup

PaulR 10-11-2004 01:16 PM

Foxfire 10-11-2004 01:30 PM

So for how many people is Christmas going to be an anniversary of when they got a bass?

I know it will be for me. :naughty:

PaulR 10-11-2004 01:31 PM

Me as well.
2 years.

wooT.

ShelBel 10-11-2004 01:32 PM

Me! :) I just wish it was a better bass... darn kids, having to eat and wear clothes, sheesh, what do they think I am, made of money?

*hugs everyone and skips off, singing "Time for me to go home, whoo hoo!" *

Foxfire 10-11-2004 01:32 PM

It'll be a year for me.

My goals for this Christmas are:

Chromatic Fantasy
Classical Thump
Overjoyed

e p 10-11-2004 01:33 PM

Pretty lofty goals for one year.

Foxfire 10-11-2004 01:34 PM

*shrug* I still have 2 months and 14 days. :p I'm a minute and 30 into Classical Thump. The rest I still have to work on, though.

Challengingness.

PaulR 10-11-2004 01:35 PM

Psssh who doesn't like a challenge eh?

Foxfire 10-11-2004 01:35 PM

'Xactly.

FUNKNBASS 10-11-2004 01:36 PM

Hey guys, what up.
Pretty lofty goals for one year.
its good to set goals that are just beyond what you can reach

e p 10-11-2004 01:37 PM

Hey Funk.

PaulR 10-11-2004 01:38 PM

I just put the Country Music and Tommy the Cat tabs on my bed to attempt later.

Raise your hand if you can already play them...

Foxfire 10-11-2004 01:39 PM

:raises hand sorta:

Though for Country Music, I can only do the San Francisco bit. I don't find the rest particularly interesting. :upset:

Jim Hull 10-11-2004 01:40 PM

*raises hand for tommy the cat*

but very poorly :upset: I need to practice it a bit more.
