What do you guys use to scrobble your iPod?
I don't have an iPod, but I'm frankly tired of fielding iTunes help questions—iTunes is a piece of shit—so I should like to point out there are alternatives such as LastPod

I use the built-in scrobbling in Sonata btw; it's a great program
no, like:

1 - Band - 6hr
2 - Band - 5hr

Cause playcounts can be misleading. Like, I had 19 Reverend Bizarre plays on my computer last week, which is like 48 hours of music.
Yes, I was thinking about that myself

Summoning has some very long tracks and, while they'd still be my #1 artist in any case, they get overrepresented somewhat because they take a huge chunk of any finite amount of time.

NemesisDivina 03-05-2008 09:33 PM

I think Nadja would jump up quite a bit on a few people's lists.

Om too.

There was that thing where it took an average and gave you an adjusted overall list based on time.
winamp freezes as soon as i open it because my music library is too large
winamp is better when you just drag the folder into the player

which is what i do

and is a lot easier

**** music libraries

RiceMonster 03-06-2008 01:11 PM

Winamp >>> iTunes. Winamp supports more far more file types and you can actually get plug-ins for more functionality. With iTunes you only get what it comes with, and it's annoying. Plus, Winamp's got milkdrop, which is pretty awesome.

I actually don't use Winamp though, I use foobar2000, because it's not bloated with tones of **** like iTunes and Winamp are, and it's pretty much as customizable as it gets. I don't recommend it to everyone though, because most people aren't willing to spend the time to figure it out.

TojesDolan 03-06-2008 01:12 PM

fooobar

With correct equalizer options and decent speakers winamp does a damn fine trick for me.
