I'm enjoying the new Bloodbath.

beans 03-10-2008 01:27 PM

i still need to hear it, all ive heard from them is nightmares made flesh and i enjoyed it

Deth 03-10-2008 01:29 PM

It's a more atmospheric and less frantic Nightmares Made Flesh with Akerfeldt giving some sweet vocals.

beans 03-10-2008 01:52 PM

i love his vox, atmospheric sounds good :) ill have to get that, is it out yet or do you have a leak or something?

Tyler 03-10-2008 01:53 PM

the EP leaked. there's an actual LP coming out though i think

beans 03-10-2008 01:55 PM

any idea of where i can find the ep? i've looked and i cant seem to find it :(
im hoping that lp is coming out soon

Dimmu Burger 03-10-2008 02:23 PM

A local band here changed their name from Eaten Alive to Visceral Disgorgement and I'm like wtf? Lets be as generic as possible!

RetiredAt21 03-10-2008 02:24 PM

Well, Eaten Alive is already taken by hardcore band from California.

Dimmu Burger 03-10-2008 02:25 PM

I'm sure Visceral Disgorgement is taken a million times as well.

masscows 03-10-2008 02:25 PM

Which of Bloodbath's full-lengths is better?
A local band here changed their name from Eaten Alive to Visceral Disgorgement and I'm like wtf? Lets be as generic as possible!
when I see names like that I automatically assume the band sucks

RetiredAt21 03-10-2008 02:28 PM
I'm sure Visceral Disgorgement is taken a million times as well.
LOL true, I didn't even think of that.

Dimmu Burger 03-10-2008 02:43 PM

My friends and I sat around and thought of death metal band names. We came up with CO Poisoning for any band with me and my co workers in it (CO could be Correctional Officer or Carbon Monoxide). We had a lot of other gross stuff but I can't remember it, much like real death metal bands.

Resurrection Through Carnage. Chainsaw guitars = win.

Blasting The Virginborn is pretty sweet. It's not as old school as I've come to expect from Bloodbath, but this is still quality. Will listen to rest later.

FatalEnergy 03-10-2008 06:33 PM

The EP is pretty good. The first EP is still the best thing they released though

Dimmu Burger 03-10-2008 07:13 PM

I've given None So Vile a good few listens. Its very good.
I don't see what is so funny there???
Good I'm not the only one.

rattlehead42147 03-10-2008 07:44 PM

Bloodbath neither sound like, nor "keep alive" old school swedish death metal.

Tyler 03-10-2008 07:44 PM

it's not funny, was just emphasizing how gay bloodbath's entire basis is.

Dimmu Burger 03-10-2008 07:44 PM
Bloodbath neither sound nor "keep alive" old school swedish death metal.
oh i see...or hear, lol.

rattlehead42147 03-10-2008 07:47 PM

i'm not even trying to be an *** or anything but I just can't see any similarities between Bloodbath and old school stuff.

NemesisDivina 03-10-2008 07:47 PM

Abramelin rules

rattlehead42147 03-10-2008 07:48 PM

lol i've never heard of them what are they like?

Dimmu Burger 03-10-2008 07:50 PM

The Faceless keeps old school death metal alive!!

lol wut

Aronax 03-10-2008 07:56 PM

Anybody like Eternal Solstice, Belsebub, Infected (CHE), or Crematory? Been listening to large of amounts of those lately.

rattlehead42147 03-10-2008 07:58 PM

Crematory rules, I have all their demos. Denial EP ftw. Haven't heard the others.

(Unless you're tallking about the German Crematory, they suck.)

Eliminator 03-10-2008 07:58 PM

denial is awesome

Aronax 03-10-2008 08:02 PM

Good to see some Crematory fans here. Infected is a ripping gem, definetly get it if you get the chance. You won't regret it.

Have you listened to the first EP or LP at all?

Like, at all?

rattlehead42147 03-10-2008 08:07 PM

Resurrection through Carnage is the one i've heard, so yes. Mediocre stuff, although I heard NMF was much better. RTC sounded like a parody of the old school style. I listened to it quite a few times, I remember wanting it to be good but it just wasn't.

Pete 03-10-2008 08:07 PM

the new dismember is good, btw

will do. seems like something i'd enjoy by the looks of their M-A page.

pate 03-10-2008 08:09 PM
all dismember is good, btw
Yes

Pete 03-10-2008 08:11 PM

i see what you did there

you made something true even more true
what
RTC is a parody of the old school style if anything.

i'm getting tired of the phrase "old school".

C.O.A. 03-10-2008 08:20 PM

jesus christ.
