Nice new name young man.

Live Bruce?!
Oh my.

ashman 01-06-2006 10:49 AM

Apparently there's talk of a Tyranny of Souls tour, I would love to go if they do it.

Josh 01-06-2006 11:00 AM

i would go see him on a ToS tour, but how would he fit it in, with maiden recording and then touring? just tour between the album and the other tour? i suppose he's probably fit enough to do that.

ashman 01-06-2006 11:06 AM

It would be insane crazy, but hey, the mans a one man everything...

Lord Abortion 01-06-2006 02:27 PM

Bruce could do anything...It may just be a small tour, perhaps just festivals, or small dates.

Josh 01-06-2006 02:29 PM

yeh.

/prays for newcastle to be on the list.

I just listened to iron maiden, im a fan now, right?

Mein bass 01-07-2006 03:09 AM

I LOVE Iron Maiden.
A personal favorite.Steve Harris is a demon on bass and man dual lead guitars is always awesome.
Without a doubt iron maiden is pure awesomness.

Naw, you gotta carve Iron Maiden into your arm with a razor blade first.

EdwardTheGreat 01-07-2006 07:34 AM

Just read the review of the Death On The Road DVD by Classic Rock, they gave it 9/10, which is very rare, not many things get that high. Basically they said its awesome and 'it provides irrefutable proof that Maiden are the worlds greatest living metal band - bar none.'

all i can say to that is damn straight \m/

Apocalyptic Raids 01-07-2006 08:33 AM

I find Death On The Road very average.

I'll stick with Live After Death, thanks.

blackthorne 01-07-2006 08:46 AM

i like all maiden live but death on the road is my least favourite

EdwardTheGreat 01-07-2006 10:10 AM

I thought the 2 live dead ones were pretty rubbish, and Donington wasnt my favourite, but I think this will be loads better on DVD than CD, where it was only average. It should be improved by being able to see it.

Ha,nothing has been done or even have be said about MXaiden since you left.

the_uber_penguin 01-08-2006 07:36 AM

Yeah.

I think we never really got a drummer.

Anyone?

In other news, I'm trying to start a live tribute to Iron Maiden, so if anyone in here plays either guitar, bass or can sing (we have me: guitar/vox, Tim: guitar/bass, Chris: drums/bass atm) and lives in Surrey, UK, e-mail me (arkadye@hotmail.com) and we'll give you a try out.

Anyways.

I'm off to learn Fear Of The Dark.

See you guys later.

blackthorne 01-08-2006 08:24 AM
I get the urge to don a Kilt and prance around Nicko Style.
I did. I was runner up on a competition on the website a few months back.

Trev 01-08-2006 09:52 AM

I play drums but I won't have any proper mics for about a year. I can record with my headset microphone but the quality isn't brilliant, I'll put a sample up later maybe.
