"The Destruction of Sennacherib is one of Byron's least romantic works. It tells the story of the destruction of the ancient civilisation of sennacherib, but is symbolic of the greek's struggle against the ottoman empire. Rhetorical devices in this poem include blah blah maybe i should actually read the poem."

that is the second paragraph of my Grade 11 University Prep English final term paper.

Me is eating ham sandwiches.. therefore i am happy.

So I just read the 360 firmware was cracked, which means you can run DVD-R's of 360 games now apparently. I'm not messing with my machine, but still, that was pretty quick.

Also got Disc 1 of Prison Break, and the fucker was in Japanese (Episodes were in English though), and only had 2 episodes on the disc! I'm pissed off because of that.

That does seem pretty quick.
I don't know if I'll ever get a 360 or a PS3, because I barely ever play my PS2 / Xbox.
I'm definately getting a Nintendo Wii though, because I always love Nintendo consoles. They make games that are genuinely fun, and don't focus on violence or graphics to sell.
I really hope that good games come out at launch, because the DS had a pretty weak launch except for Wario Ware and Mario 64, and I've been waiting for a long time for some properly great games to be released. But now there looks to be lots of decent DS games coming out this year, so I don't really regret buying one.

NP : Elliott Smith - Son Of Sam
Elliot Smith was such a good songwriter, shame about the whole commiting suicide thing.

I have to announce that I have a new Soco Amaretto Lime....

The Forecast - Welcome Home

I love the song, and the new album so much... I'm turning 18 in 12 days, and I can relate to the song so much being in a band now.

It's been awhile MX... hope everyones doing well.

DepthsOfDreams555 06-04-2006 10:39 AM

I love The Forecast, I'm trying to get the new album but it wont download.

It may be hard for the usual pop-punk scene to get into. It has alot of folk/southern rock/and country influences. The musicianship is amazing and it's really something different.

Dustin Addis isn't really a unique vocalist in any way shape or form but I love what he does. Shannon is right there with him...

The album was really a surprise for me.

DepthsOfDreams555 06-04-2006 10:45 AM

Well I have Late Night Conversations and I love it, so if it's anything like that I will enjoy it.

I enjoyed Late Night Conversations and it is like it... :D

In the shadow of two Gunmen - really seems much more refined and better produced then LNC. Dustin takes on alot more vocalists then Shannon in this... but he really does a good job doing so.

Understanding In a Crash 06-04-2006 10:50 AM

I really want to see them live.

Kif 06-04-2006 10:51 AM

I've found a torrent of the new album. I'd upload to the newsletter if YSI decided to work

Understanding In a Crash 06-04-2006 10:53 AM

I won't lie but when I first saw there victory record ad's I was like OH GOD... but they are extremely talented and I really have fallen for the new album. It's just so soothing at times...

Sup Kif.

Kif 06-04-2006 10:54 AM

Hey Dan. Not much, getting Prison Break and looking through new music. Blackpool Lights are awesome.

DepthsOfDreams555 06-04-2006 10:55 AM

Kif, I have a link for it, my computer is just being gay. Well I'm very pumped to hear it.

Understanding In a Crash 06-04-2006 10:55 AM

I really do miss this place alot.

I did end up breaking it off with my girl that really ended my existence on MX.

I'm hanging out with a new one right now though...

Life.

The blackpool lights suck. I went every year since i was 0 till like 13 and they NEVER changed, it was always some person off corination street's picture with a light behind it.

/releases your proberly on about a band, i'm not that thick you know.

DepthsOfDreams555 06-04-2006 11:07 AM

I got the new album, I have to leave, I'm going to put it on my mp3 player and listen to it, I'll let you know what I think of it later Dan. Peace!

Kif 06-04-2006 12:04 PM

I just realized I hadn't put any music on full volume in like forever, so I've got my Zen hooked up to the stereo with Refused blasting out. It's awesome.
