Yeah the Movie itself was great, but i think the deleted scenes were more entertaining, there was much more actual music in them instead of just arguing.

My favorite one would have to be them plannning out the Oakland Raiders parking lot show, i think that was a genius idea, and i think it would probly be the best thing ever to have been there (football, beer, barbecue, metallica) doesnt get much better than that.

Yeah me too... black album is overrated and underrated at the same time....

It's over-rated in my opinion

I think people rip on it a bit too much. Sure, its no MOP or RTL, but it by no means is a BAD album.

I think the classic Metallica fans don't like it because it's when they changed, and alot of fans love it becuase it was their first introduction to the band.

I finally saw SKOM the other day after waiting forever for it to be available here.

Just ordered it today... but due to the bad wether (a hell lot of snow) I don't know when it'll be here...

Definately not a bad album but still over-rated IMO

Yeah it is anything but a BAD album. I think it is a great album, even though i would choose any of there first 4 over it, it is their 5th best cd, its still in my top 10 albums of all time though.

It is overrated in the sense that it has sold more than any other metallica cd, but if u talk to most hardcore metallica fans they will tell u that it is not the best one they have made.

So i guess yes, it is overrated by average listener, but not by the extreme metallica fan-base.

Yes it is overrated, but i agree with cjborton and R. Blythe, it doesn't make it a bad album at all and it's actually one of my favorite albums. it sold way too many albums. the other four ahead of it should have sold more

Black, Reload and AJFA are my LEAST fav 'tallica albums.

Although it doesn't mean that Black album is bad. Tastes are different. Some may like it.

Overall, it's a great album. Maybe the problem is in me...

Well that's ok with me. It bothers me if they call it their fave if they haven't heard any of the other albums. I know some people that like all Metallica and some that only like the black album. It's ok with me, I just hope they buy the older albums

Thats actually not a bad idea cause most of the people that give me sh[SIZE=2]i[/SIZE]t for liking metallica havent even heard them. (mostly my black friends, and friends that are girls)

I cant stand when people say metallica screams, its the biggest bs ive ever heard. There are too many d[SIZE=2]a[/SIZE]mn people that stereptype metal as people with heavy distorted guitars, playing easy stuff, and screaming on the top of there lungs.

Yeah.. I guess it's better than Enter Sandman.. but they didn't even play up to the solo.. or play up to where Hetfield starts singing.. it was just repeat of the intro

My favorite Metallica album changes almost everyday. Right now it's Kill Em' All, but only because it's a recent purchase.

Mines Ride, then kill, although my fav song is hit the lights (which they should of done in live ****!) then a big drop to master then close behind to black. then ajfa a bit higher to a huge drop to basically "yuck" pile in all of their stuff after 91.
