Taste_My_Scythe 02-10-2006 11:40 AM

Ugh. I don't really know what happened. This is the same thing that happened to me with my Claddagh. I put it down somewhere IN MY HOUSE, and when I went back to get it...it wasn't there. That's just how I lose things. And both of them were important to me too. Not cool.

Shadows 02-10-2006 11:41 AM

I have yet to take mine out of the house except for a few times I took it to school. Then again, it's a nano, so it's hard to see anyway.

Which reminds me. The other day I was having some trouble hooking it up to my computer. After a half hour of figureing out what was wrong I got it to work, but everything was deleted. :( Ugh, it's going to take me so long to get the music back.

Taste_My_Scythe 02-10-2006 11:43 AM

haha. Wow. That sucks.

Jev 02-10-2006 11:50 AM
Don't forget M83 and Shpongle.
Cool thanks I'll try them.
haha. Wow. That sucks.
I know. :( I only have two out of the 50 albums back so far.
I know. :( I only have two out of the 50 albums back so far.
Yeah, well...I've only got 50 songs on this little beat up mp3 player until I can afford to buy another one. lol

That's more than I have! ...lawl

Can't you afford another one? Your job is amazing.

Jev 02-10-2006 12:09 PM

I have no MP3 player either. I got angry and broke it.

Haha. That's funny. My job is not amazing. I'm a ****ing cashier.

Happy - This one I'm using now is almost broke. I...uh...tend to drop things a lot.

Haha same here. They don't trust me with school guitars much anymore.

Taste_My_Scythe 02-10-2006 12:17 PM

YOWza. hahaha. I'm pretty small, so my bass looks huge on me. I've banged it into so many things it's not even funny. Car doors, door frames, my bed...my computer...the list goes on.

Shadows 02-10-2006 12:20 PM

I used to bang my first guitar on everything. I just couldn't tell where is was going to swing when I carried it places.

Then I got really frustrated while practicing one and swung it against the wall, putting a crack in it. I've been using the new one ever since.

Jev 02-10-2006 12:21 PM

haha, i shut my flying V in the car door once. The guys in the woodtech block glued the piece that came off back on though.
I've been more careful with my Ibanez.

Steerpike 02-10-2006 12:21 PM

I'm still impressed about how I tripped on my guitar stand and snapped off both of the clamps on it.

Anyway, welcome back to our little neck of the woods, Leah. Just in time for a fresh new spotlight of high quality metal: Slough Feg. (shameless self-advert)

Hey there, Alex. Nice to see you again. :)
I will most definately check it out, and go ahead and send me the uploads. Thanks. :thumb:

kurrpt 02-10-2006 12:30 PM

i bumped my LP classic REAL bad before i got rid of it. I mean, it was REAL bad cause it was MINT before that point. Knocked out the light when i did that.

I banged my JEM on the roof taking it off (strap was on). Got rid of that guy too

I have yet to bump my PRS <knock on wood>

Shadows 02-10-2006 12:31 PM

I'd love to get myself a new guitar, but I'm already channeling all of my money into the new amp I'm looking at. Otherwise I'd be looking into an LP or RR5.

Likewise...I haven't smacked my Jackson into anything yet.
/knock

kurrpt 02-10-2006 12:41 PM

i must have smacked my old DKMGT about a bazillion times. I got it for 189, so i really didnt care

damn i wish i still had that :upset:

Taste_My_Scythe 02-10-2006 12:43 PM

Bartender 02-10-2006 12:44 PM

I lost one of the little foam cover things for one of my mp3 player's earphones today. Incredibly annoying, but at least that's about the closest I've come to breaking it.

Taste_My_Scythe 02-10-2006 12:48 PM

I can never use those little things. They always fall out of my ear.

Shadows 02-10-2006 12:49 PM

I can't use them either. One stays in, but the other keeps falling out unless I force it in until it hurts. I'll stick with traditional headphones.

Taste_My_Scythe 02-10-2006 12:50 PM

I use the ones that you stick into your ear, but they're like regular headphones. They're great.

Alrighty. I'm signing off, guys. Got to go try to eat something. Ciao ciao.

Bartender 02-10-2006 12:50 PM

I guess I've just got a lucky size of ear.

EDIT: Fare thee well.

PinkFreud 02-10-2006 12:56 PM

ive always used ear buds. mostly because my hair looks goofy if i use regular headphones. haha. the earbuds are hidden.

Bartender 02-10-2006 12:57 PM
I used to always use earphones, but they tended to make my ears burn after an hour or so. Now I use some of those headphones that wrap around your ears. Good times.
Maybe we're talking about different things. I wouldn't be surprised if I'd gotten terminology wrong.

The only somethingphones that have actually caused me pain have been (what I call) headphones issued on a plane, with a foam-covered pad the size of the whole ear. Over the course of a flight they always rub protruding bits of ear red.

Steerpike 02-10-2006 12:58 PM

My earphones never give me any problems.

Anyway, we're supposed to get a foot of snow over here overnight. Joy.

Same thing down here in Annapolis. It would fall conveniently on a Saturday too.

Shred Danson 02-10-2006 01:03 PM

So yeah. Sup thread.

Got my band a show with a national act :D

Steerpike 02-10-2006 01:05 PM

If they cancel the shuttles this weekend, I'm going to be pissed. He'll I'm just going to ask for twenty bucks from my parents and go grab a burger and a beer at the restaurant down the street.

damn, thats a lot nicer then mine. My was all black, with the little inlets and a stop tail

189 USD tho. I could never beat that.

superpeer 02-10-2006 01:31 PM
yea, urrite...

but that would lead into an arguemnt i would rather not witness
An argument that would be easy to win if she had any sense of rationality. Oh waaait, she's a woman, nevermind.

I thought no one still used regular head phones, they look kinda goofy.

That's a nice guitar, too.

kurrpt 02-10-2006 01:33 PM

i use ear buds, since they came with my PSP and IPOD. They are fine for me, but get uncomfortable after long use. You can pretty much say that about 90% of headphones

edit : my UT suggests i only try to date females

Jev 02-10-2006 01:34 PM

Aww I missed a discussion about earphones. I have big ones that cover the whole ear. They're awesome.

superpeer 02-10-2006 01:37 PM

Eh, I have them in all the time. They don't really bother me.

And yeah, females just look too good to go gay.

kurrpt 02-10-2006 01:39 PM

i find it nay impossible to find "love" in anothers hairy arse

gmoneyguy 02-10-2006 02:32 PM

I just bought office space for my psp. :) I bought sin city also but It won't read so i need to take it back :(

Jev 02-10-2006 02:59 PM
