I was googling lyrics to try and find this song, it is an old song, the singer sounds kind of like Bob Segar and the only part I can remember is

"Your working on the night" (If you sing it like Bob Segar or Van Morrison you might be able to think of it). I feel rather dumb for not knowing the title of the song because it is like one of the most well known songs of all time. However if someone would be able to tell me the title of the song that would be super.
