It's not a bad album, just not good. At all. The musicianship is the only thing that stands out with this band, and not much at that. The melodic singing is horrible, though.

Good god! Thats a ****ing heavy track man... I like the vocals alot and the guitar work is very good. Drums are abit weak but w/e.

Haste The Day and Nodes Of Ranvier pull it off well.

But generally, singing in heavy music (Hardcore/metalcore) doesn't fit at all. Howard from Killswitch has a really cool resonating voice though.

Sonata Arctica have some nice catchy stuff, but really, it's ridiculous music.

One EP called Kingdom Of The Dead. It's more metal/riffage oriented than their album. Which is called Of Bitterness And Hope.
