I'd like to get some more vinyl, but first I need a good place to set my dad's turn table up.
The whole opperating a record player was a skill I resently had to acquire(sp?)

heh, my dad's is a fairly modern one. It's cool, as well as being a good turn table it has these lights on the side and they spin in neat ways.

Seafroggys 10-26-2004 08:51 PM

I just got a 25% off coupon for Borders, and I can't decide what CD I want to get next.

- Who are You? Who
- Who's Next Who
- Magical Mystery Tour Beatles
- Led Zepplin II Don't remember
- Help Beatles
- Aqualung! Jethro Tull
- Secret Treaties Blue Oyster Cult
- Master of Puppets Metallica

I doubt I can get Secret Treaties at a place like Borders, but I can't really decide (this is my b-day list :) )

Spectrum 10-26-2004 08:53 PM

I know that Who are You? is a classic alongside Who's Next, Magical Mystery Tour is a great one, as is Help, and the rest I don't know about (I don't know them as well).

BludgeonySteve 10-26-2004 09:00 PM

After all of those albums get Jeff Healey- Hell to pay. You will not regret it.

I think Who Are You is mediocre.

RockAndRoll 10-26-2004 09:30 PM

I like who's next more than who are you.

I would get Aqualung, just because most of those other cds have a lot of songs you can hear on the radio (if you have a classic rock station) i have barely heard any tull on the radio except the song Aqualung itself.

gmoneyguy 10-27-2004 08:35 AM
I wish I had a record store like that near me.
Those are great.

ibanED311 10-27-2004 02:56 PM

classic rock is good stuff, its better than a ton of the crap people are into now. The beatles and Zepp. are 2 of the best bands of all time. If you consider Santana classic rock, then im A HUGE classic rock fan.

Rush kicks too.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 10-27-2004 03:02 PM

Has anyone downloaded Roy Harper??? yet

Yeah, while not quite "rock" santana is still classic rock. Uhh that doesn't make sense to the un-trained mind, mind you.
