Yeah, Reel Big Fish, yeah!

Bukowski 05-19-2006 06:50 AM

Pavement - everything

Little Man being Erased 05-19-2006 10:24 AM

I think I might be in the right frame of mind to listen to Butch Walker again. I didn't really think much of Letters when I first heard it but I'ma give it another shot.

With my newfound interest in Pop n all.

Little Man being Erased 05-19-2006 10:40 AM

Pop is popular for a reason.
The Small Faces - Ogden's Nut Gone Flake
I don't like this album that much, but I love the opener. When I first heard it sampled on Beauty and the Beat, I was like, "Awww, yeah."

The Futureheads - News and Tributes

I didn't really like their first album, but you could tell they were really trying to do something neat unlike a lot of similiar minded bands. I'm still not sold, but this is nice. "Skip To the End" is easily better than anything I've heard from them. Probably one of the catchier tunes I've heard this year. Handclapper it is. Title track is good, too.

rocker diva 05-19-2006 03:34 PM

the loon by tapes n tapes is cool.
also the new aloha.

The Twilight Singers - She Loves You

I like Afghan Whigs so I checked this one out, finally. Turns out it's a pretty solid covers album. That and the album cover @_@

Yea, me too!

I pointed that out to a friend of mine tonight.

Robert Crumb 05-19-2006 11:14 PM

New Outkast song.

The critic in me says, "This ain't a jaw-dropper," but I just bitchslapped that cynical idiot. Outkast++

YDload 05-19-2006 11:21 PM

These Internet radio stations on iTunes are pretty good. Since I'm not connected to my school's shared network in the summer, I have to figure out ways to hear lots of different songs without paying for it.

Heard a Built To Spill song "Kicked It In The Sun" which is just another reason that I need to get Perfect From Now On as soon as possible.

Luxor 05-19-2006 11:40 PM

"Skip to the End" is a totally rad track. So dang catchy. I, like you, wasn't very impressed by what I heard off their debut but I'm gonna check that album out.
Yeah Grab That Gun is great. The guitarist sounds more like Johnny Marr than Johnny Marr does nowadays.
Hah, truth.

FUnkarockadrummer 05-20-2006 03:18 AM

new tool album.

Been smashing it lately.

Interpol - "turn on the bright lights' has made a bit of a resurgence in my playlist.

Little Man being Erased 05-20-2006 06:37 AM

Pixies - Surfer Rosa

Oh man oh man, this shits all over Doolittle.

That's not to say Doolittle ain't good.

Frank Zappa - We're Only in it For The Money

pixiesfanyo 05-20-2006 07:19 AM

King Crimson - Red
King Crimson - The Power To Believe

It's interesting how different yet how good both of these albums are. Starless has Fripp's best guitar work, man is it good.

I Was A Kaleidoscope 05-20-2006 08:37 AM

Mazzy Star, Mozart, and Björk.

I'm not so sure.
I mean...it has Bone Machine and stuff...I dunno, maybe I just need to listen to it more.

Little Man being Erased 05-20-2006 08:53 AM

No way, it hit me straight away. I love it. I'm becoming a Pixies fan. Yo.

pixiesfanyo 05-20-2006 08:58 AM

funnyz.

Surfer Rosa is their best, anyone that says otherwise can suck on deez nuts.

asdf 05-20-2006 08:59 AM

For some reason, Surfer Rosa just didn't get to me like it seems to for most people. Doolittle is definitely my favorite.

pixiesfanyo 05-20-2006 10:17 AM

You didn't listen to it enough.

GZA - Liquid Swords

THE GENIUS!

pixiesfanyo 05-20-2006 10:43 AM

GZA and RZA wreck Method.

Little Man being Erased 05-20-2006 11:04 AM

Orange Juice and Trashcan Sinatras are both completely awesome.

Zebra 05-20-2006 11:35 AM

The Legondary Pink Dots - Asylum

Little Man being Erased 05-20-2006 12:07 PM

Listen to Ripe Fruit by Double : http://www.napster.com/player/tracks/15973139

Senor_Whippy 05-20-2006 01:50 PM

The new Razorlight single 'In The Morning'. Am not really a Razorlight fan but the new single has a lot more personality and direction than anything on the first record ever did. That and **** loads of Manic Street Preachers stuff.
