lol i had exactly the same problem. My mate was bigging it up and i watched it and i was like :upset: i dont get it.

Requiem For A Dream is awesome though. Similar frenetic style except Aranofsky does it much better

Its actually really good. Jared Leto proves he can act in it and it has the whole frenetic cut sequences going on but he associates each one with an action or feeling rather than show the action so they're like ready made symbols. Its really cool and hard to explain but i dont think you'd be disappointed with it

Speaking of Jared Leto, I watch American Psycho recently. Not what I expected, but the concept is fascinating.

I love that movie. Christian Bale is immense in that movie. The business cards scene cracks me up

Clive Owen is a great actor i think. he was fantastic in Children of Men, Derailed, Inside Man, and Shoot 'Em Up (fun movie)

i still need to see children of men, i've heard really fantastic things about it but i never got a chance to watch it. inside man was great though.

Shoot 'Em Up was amazing. If you can kill some one with a carrot, and make it amusing, then you have hit cinema gold imho.

Children Of Men was terrific. The ending was a copout, but the rest was superb.
