dinosaurxbrocore 05-05-2008 01:34 PM

ahahahahahaha

dinosaurxbrocore 05-05-2008 01:42 PM

falling from the top floor
your lungs fill like parachutes
windows go rushing by
people inside, dressed for the funeral
in black and white.
these ties strangle our necks,
hanging in the closet,
trapped in the cubicle;
without a name, just numbers,
on the resume stored in the mainframe,
marked for delete.

please take these hands
throw them in the river,
wash away the things they never held
please take these hands,
throw me in the river,
don’t let me drown before the workday ends.

9 to 5! 9 to 5!

and we're up to our necks,
drowning in the seconds,
ingesting the morning commute
lost in a dead subway sleep
we lie wide awake in our parent’s beds,
tossing and turning.
tomorrow we'll get up
drive to work,
single file
with everyday
it's like the last.
waiting for the life to start,
is it always just always ahead of the curve?

please take these hands
throw them in the river,
wash away the things they never held
please take these hands,
throw me in the river,
don’t let me drown before the workday ends.

just keep making copies
of copies
of copies
when will it end?

it'll never end,
'til it gets so bad
that the ink fills in our fingerprints
and the silhouette of your own face becomes the black cloud of war
and even in our dreams we're so afraid the weight will offset who we are
all those breaths that you took have now been canceled in your lungs.
last night my teeth fell out like ivory typewriter keys
and all the monuments and skyscrapers burned down and filled the sea.

save our ship
the anchor is part of the desk
we can't cut free,
the water is flooding the decks
the memos sent through the currents
computers spark like flares
I can see them.
they don't touch me,
touch me.

please someone,
teach me how to swim.
Please, don't let me drown,
please, don't let me drown.

Dash 05-05-2008 01:50 PM

Actually Chasms isn't too bad of an album...

If we are talking lyrics now (don't know what that gay **** was above) atleast is better than 99% of black metal lyrically.

"The castle lies in the mist,
Between the mountains and marshes.
Through the last centuries,
Have the moonshine enlighten her coffin.
The black soul of the hunter..."

The ocean cradles it's sleepy wave,
Round the curve of the yellow sand.
Of the bleak and mysterious little isle,
Where no leaf has been touched by human hands.
Then I behold that island so fair,

Dude get the Rebirth of the Middle Ages EP by Godkiller. So LOL.

Silenius 05-05-2008 03:12 PM

Reading through this thread is more ****ing dramatic than watching ****ing reality tv. It's like people here just contend for badass/drunken elite of the thread status.

I don't see anything special about them. Typical black metal cliche lyrics.
A brief query I had about Varg's sentence isn't "nutriding."

I don't know anyone here who is.

I've stated neither.
Why the hell did you think I was addressing you individually? I don't see why you had to be so quick to defend yourself against something not directed at you.
Honey, was this all going through your head when you were sucking up to me?

All you are doing by the way, is proving Cael's point that you are not much more than a gossiper, and mine that you're a social butterfly. Spreading rumors is not elite. And when I make an effort to spell properly, I do :thumb:
So please, piss off.

Akitsa
Goat Molestor
Necroslaughter
Infernal Necromency
Black Orbit
Mes Nuits D'ansoisse
Basilisk
Morbid Ceremony
Unholy Crucifix
Ante Cryst
Von
Oubliette

They get the most plays from me.

He namedrops and is obviously Austen as shown by his Morbid Ceremony reference

1338 h4x0r 05-05-2008 05:27 PM

dinosaurxbrocore 05-05-2008 05:27 PM

i know this akista fellow from ug, def not austin

1338 h4x0r 05-05-2008 05:30 PM

Malfeitor 05-05-2008 05:31 PM

Definitely is Austin, more like. If not, then who can it be?

See Austin, you even have elevenqueen jumping in for you

Bordello 05-05-2008 05:32 PM

yea metal has pretty much sucked since the Black album. Too much screaming/growling/death growling/etc. Everyone keeps trying to get harder and harder, you cannot even make out guitar/bass parts anymore. It's all muffled, overdriven, and stupid. Orion is a great metal song, Creeping Death is a great metal song, the Trooper is a great metal song. It's happening in all forms of music. Nickelback, Hinder, Seether, they all suck. 99% of new rap is just club garbage. Nobody is saying anything anymore, or experimenting, or moving forward, or innovating. All forms of popular music are becoming more pretentious and cookie cutter format by the day. It's sad. Which is why I basically only listen to music created before 1995 save jam bands, there's some good ones out there. Not because I am "close minded" I would love to turn on a top 40 radio station and have a song move me, or inspire me. It's not happening though, so you have to look back and delve deep to find the cream.

Angmar 05-05-2008 06:23 PM

Male Fellator are you trying to prove something?

RiceMonster 05-05-2008 07:13 PM

sup guys just back from name dropin' on UG. i even told 'em bout ma satanic blood cd lol u guys should have been thar

DERSIEGDERKRIEGDERKAMPF 05-05-2008 07:15 PM

Morbid Ceremony wasn't even released on tape at that time, making a claim otherwise is where this whole ordeal clearly gets way out of hand.
