The one thing I always wonder as I listen to male Brazilian singers, though, is why do they all sing through their nose? It doesn't bother me, but I mean, almost every one of 'em.

I'm loving these dark, broken '80s Sonic Youth sounds. It's quite brooding and strong. Excellent record.

Yes exactly. "Broken Face" and "Something Against You" are among my favorites as well, same with "Oh My Golly!" for similar reasons. I love to play "Broken Face" on bass because it's just a simple, fun bassline. Like most of them.

I've heard people say that they don't like the song 'Red Brick' of [I]Surfer Rosa[/I], I find that amazing. I really should listen to The Pixies again soon, it's been ages.
