Anyone into Crucial Unit?

FatalEnergy 09-26-2006 12:28 AM

Dew-Scented isn't very thrash in my opinion. It's too "-core" for me

I always got the distinct impression they were similar to The Haunted, so I've always stayed away.
Anyone into Crucial Unit?
I've got the split with Municipal Waste. To be honest I haven't payed much attention to their half.

NP: Lääz Rockit - Into The Asylum

I love this band. Very underated.

FatalEnergy 09-26-2006 10:18 PM

Destruction is going to tour the US next year with Sadus and Municipal Waste. I will definiately not miss it.

Apocalyptic Raids 09-26-2006 10:24 PM

Sounds like a great tour.

NP: Municipal Waste - Escape From New York (Intro)/Big Trouble In Little China

Apocalyptic Raids 09-26-2006 10:34 PM

Municipal Waste have a DVD coming out.

Poofy 666 09-26-2006 10:41 PM

Their live shows look awsome. When is the DVD supposed to be released?

Apocalyptic Raids 09-26-2006 10:49 PM

I don't know, but here's the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzQWIuCCDF8

It's for a Special Edition of Hazardous Mutation, I think.

Inpropagation 09-26-2006 10:50 PM

I'm wearing a municipal waste tshirt.

pate 09-26-2006 10:53 PM

You guys probably haven't heard yet, but....

This guy a friend of mine knows, knows Alex Craft...guitarist/producer/friend of Tom Angelripper. Well, Alex says that a Sodom/Kreator/Destruction US tour for mid-2007 is being finalized as we speak.

If this is true......we'll all be in for a great show :thumb:

Yeah i've been thinking about that for a long time. That would be the best tour ever.

Apocalyptic Raids 09-26-2006 10:57 PM

Yeah, I've heard about that.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtODymvgXAE

pate 09-26-2006 11:19 PM

Ah...the way I was told was that it was breaking news.

Apocalyptic Raids 09-26-2006 11:35 PM

Didn't it happen in Europe in 2002 or something?

Bazarov 09-26-2006 11:37 PM

San Diego is too neglected. I'll drive up to LA for that if it came there.. ****, I'd probably drive to San Fran.

FatalEnergy 09-27-2006 12:57 AM

Yeah, Schmier said that's not all of the tour dates. So, I'm sure there an LA date and an SF date to be announced. I'll probably be at the SF show if there isn't one any closer than that.

AA-12 09-27-2006 01:03 AM

NP: Crucial Unit - These Colors Get The Runs

Nostalgia 09-27-2006 01:46 AM

I know, I was looking at that Dog shirt the other day. How weird.

JSR do have pretty good shirts, though. I ordered 3 yesterday.

AA-12 09-27-2006 01:48 AM

Dog is the man.

http://www.jsrdirect.com/images/obt109c.jpg I want this shirt so bad.

Yeah, ex-clan ftw...

:neverinclan:

FatalEnergy 10-01-2006 09:57 PM

Yeah, that crap only took....3 and a half years. I totally forgot about it altogether. It better not suck.

:RepstheRFA:

Apocalyptic Raids 10-01-2006 09:58 PM

Yeah, I remember watching the trailer at least 2 years ago.

FatalEnergy 10-01-2006 10:03 PM

I remember when I was watching the trailer where Exodus was talking about something and Zetro was still in the band and it was before Tempo... came out, so it's been a while.

Apocalyptic Raids 10-01-2006 10:10 PM

Yeah I think I've got a few of those clips around somewhere. There was one with Exodus talking about Kirk leaving, and they bought some newer ones out last year. There was one with Katon talking about why Hirax's logo looks like Celtic Frost's and they guy from Torrid Records explaining why Bonded By Blood was delayed so long. And I think another with Exodus talking about some jobs they had together way back then.

AA-12 10-03-2006 06:42 PM

So, you all should check out Festering Sore. Nice and raw stuff. Vocalist can sound like Brian Posehn at times though, wtf.

pate 10-03-2006 06:50 PM

Posehn FTL

Bazarov 10-03-2006 06:50 PM

Psh. I already have Chlorine for the Gene Pool. :cool:x666

I LOVE THE GIRLS WHO DON'T SAY NO!
THEY NEVER DO WHEN YA FUCK A DEAD BODY!

AA-12 10-03-2006 06:52 PM

Yeah, it's a crazy *** album

Bazarov 10-03-2006 06:58 PM

The only track I don't like very much is Mucus Membrane/Festering Sore it's okay, just not as good as the other tracks. It took me over a year to finally get that album. RCA handed out a few tracks, and yeah when I finally got it, I was extremely pleased.

AA-12 10-03-2006 06:58 PM

The cover is sexcellent.

Bazarov 10-03-2006 07:09 PM

Can't really go wrong with covering Don't Burn the Witch. Unless you turn it into some pop or techno cover.
