I want more Metal Shirts.

I'm saving for my amp at the moment. Then I'll probably save my money till I turn 18 then drive to the Dallas guitar show and buy a Les Paul.
Yes very.

Ive been looking at some Les Pauls too...but thats mainly because the guitarist from my favorite band plays one :p I realy dont think ill get one.

blue3 01-16-2006 10:05 PM

Gibson? So expensive.. I counted my band shirts and I have 23.

IheartSP 01-17-2006 05:23 AM

I accidentally got two number of the beast shirts, a hatebreeder shirt, and the bloody cob shirt.

How old are you now?

Sleepy 01-17-2006 08:13 AM

I also need some more band shirts...although I also want to save up for a 5 string.

Currently I have: Lamb of God, Mastodon, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, and Black Label Society.

I'd kill for the Kalmah shop to open...although I'll probably squeeze a Finntroll shirt out of my mom sometime.

repcak 01-17-2006 09:05 AM

i only have 2x NIN with_teeth t-shirts at home

one with the NIN logo and the other one "nine inch nails" written.

Lil’ Bloodred Ridin’ Hood 01-17-2006 11:12 AM

i only have one band shirt and thats cob wish i had more

Forlorn Hope 01-17-2006 02:09 PM

I've got a COB, Black Label Society, Iron Maiden, Metallica, 2 Lamb Of God's, and an As I Lay Dying.

Toaster 01-17-2006 02:11 PM

I have a Follow The Reaper shirt. I probably have about 10 band shirts altogether, but a few I can't wear because they're signed.

Awesome. Which ones do you have signed?

Toaster 01-17-2006 02:23 PM

Opeth, Meshuggah, Tool. I've never seen COB live. :upset:

COB is incredible live. You must see them. How was the Opeth concert?

Toaster 01-17-2006 02:29 PM

I saw them a couple years ago, and that show was amazing. The one I saw at Sounds of the Underground was good, especially since I got to see TGC before the new album was released, but Opeth's set was too short. They only played for about forty-five minutes.

I'm just now getting into Opeth :D My only complaint is the songs are way too long...

Toaster 01-17-2006 02:34 PM

I don't see that as a problem at all, really. Except for maybe a bit of their early stuff, they haven't released anything that has bored me. For a few good starter songs, check out The Leper Affinity, Godhead's Lament, April Ethereal, and Ghost of Perdition.

I've heard Ghost Of Perdition; I like that one. I also like The Moor, Beneath The Mire, and Blackwater Park. I'll check out the others you mentioned.

nowitzki 01-17-2006 02:40 PM

I've got a Follow the Reaper shirt but I don't usually wear it because its quite baggy on me. Which is a shame because its a damn cool shirt. I think I have about 20 band shirts.

I would wear it anyway.

repcak 01-17-2006 02:54 PM

I'm Charming 01-17-2006 02:55 PM

AHHH!!!!! So how is it? Did you pirate it or something?

repcak 01-17-2006 03:01 PM

i only wanna have band shirts with style... i hate all the band t-shirts with skulls on it and such things (dragons, etc.) - it looks stupid and ugly
AHHH!!!!! So how is it? Did you pirate it or something?
In respect of the new rules in place by the mods. I won't endorse pirating on here or offer uploads...

Anything like this, my aim is roguewarheart , anything else is in my profile.

Yeah it's good. Some nice clear vocals.

Dragons are the shit. You must not be a power metal fan at all.

I'm probably going to go see In Flames in February. They're playing with Trivium (a metalcore band I really don't mind) and Krisiun (who I've never heard before...some info on them would be great). I'm really just going to see In Flames, and hope to God that Come Clarity isn't as sadly mediocre as STYE.

I'm also probably going to see Morbid Angel and Behemoth play in March. Now that's one I'm excited for!

MRDuCran 01-17-2006 04:36 PM

I finally bought the Follow the Reaper CD today, first time I've ever seen it in a shop and I wasn't going to let it get away from me!

repcak 01-17-2006 04:46 PM

I will see In Flames in April together with Sepultura :D

and in february Sunn O))) together with Earth

@FuryInArt: and yes, i don't like power metal

You just had a burn?

What's wrong with a burn? You don't look at the CD when you listening to it.

Yeah 45 minutes is definatly too short for an Opeth set.
I finally bought the Follow the Reaper CD today, first time I've ever seen it in a shop and I wasn't going to let it get away from me!
Ive seen Follow the Reaper a few times in stores. But I understand what you mean though. If its the first time you see a cd in a store and youve been wanting it for a while, you wont let it pass what ever price it is.

One more thing, which one is better, Something Wild or Hate breeder ?

Toaster 01-17-2006 04:57 PM
You just had a burn?

The only way bands make money is from people buying their music and merch. If no one bought any music, bands wouldn't make money. They might be forced to make internet sharing laws more strict and severe, and no one wants that. I'm starting to think that in the decade or so, albums are going to start to be released only on the internet.

Bottom line- burning is for pirates; buy albums.

I prefer Hatebreeder. Something Wild doesn't appeal to me that much.

repcak 01-17-2006 05:00 PM

Hatebreeder is better, though i love Something wild a lot... i listened to SW a lot recently.
You just had a burn?

i do; i like to have to original copy with the booklet in it and so on... and a burn cd will be destroyed after a few years. (don't ask me why... this happend to my Master of Puppets burn cd... after 2 years i had to burn it once again.)
