For conversation's sake, anyone else like the Go-Betweens a lot? They make me absolutely giddy about being sad.

Also I am in the far north why is it not snowing? It snowed at Halloween last year.

Can't say I dig the Go-Betweens, but I just got the new Animal Collective ep and it's cool.

The re-release of their first live album or something? It has a stupid name and I hate 80% of what they release anyway and hated sitting through that.

The love of Animal Collective baffles me. Their act seems to be shock value oriented for part of the time and I hate that type of stuff.

I think you're talking about Hollinndagain, which I haven't really gotten into yet, but I'm talking about People (ep). This album provides very little in terms of shock factor. It's just really chilled out, and I enjoy it.

I don't find Animal Collective shocking, I just find them good. And fun. Among other adjectives.

The People EP is good.

Yeah that's true.

Those moments are probably their best though. They're a really fun, upbeat band, but sometimes their weirdness is too much for me. But half of the time, it's not their weirdness that irks me; some of their songs are just godawful.

Listening to Flesh Canoe makes me want to flop through a puddle of acid on my belly.

"Banshee Beat" is their best song.

I work at Knotts Berry Farm and it's whatever. I have an interview for a job as a library page tommorow though, and that chet pays 8.75 and there's no embarassing uniform or anti-facial-hair rule. So that's pretty sweet.

I have four articles due in the next two days. I've only got one done. Mama said there'd be days like this.

I can't seem to focus now after Thanksgiving break. Plus there are about 5 people smoking pot in my living room - which is somewhat distracting me from the work I need to be doing. blah.

Kick them in the nuts. That'll stop them from distracting you.

Ah, I'm so glad all my hard work was right before break. Now it's smooth sailing for maybe a day or two.

I'm mostly just baffled that these as[size=2]shol[/size]es have enough free time to semi-regularly smoke (it's usually only hookah) during the week. Don't they have some work to do? I'm always busy, all night. Until the weekend hits.

So far this school year, I've been really good at being really busy, but not really doing anything and still having good grades.
