All i have to say is damn. AFI was one of the only bands now a days i thought i could rely on to make creative unique music with each new record, but, damn what the hell is this crap? I agree with a lot of you on here it sounds like it could be made by any number of bands, i could honsetly see bands like fall out boy or panic at the disco playing this songs and that really makes me sick, i really hope that the rest of the songs on the new album are not in anyway like this, but realisticly i doubt it. And that scream! i used to love davys scream it, was easily the best scream out of any bands i have ever headr but now it just sounds weak and distant and meh. Eh maybye im taking this to seriously but i just dont want to see my favorite band go down like this

I actually liked the scream and the song [I]is[/I] very catchy. It's a good single, as far as that goes. There's no reason to assume the rest of the album will be anytihng like the single.

Considering I had heard AFI would be playing more hardcore styled music on the new album, I am very dissapointed. But after all, it is only a single.

The new song is very mediocre.

I've been listening to the All Hallows Eve ep a lot lately. Definitely my favorite release.

All Hallows EP kicks so much a'ss.

Only old AFI I've heard is Black Sails in the Sunset, and I liked it.

I've been giving Miss Murder more of a chance, and I have to admit, I like the lyrics (to a certain extent).


But on the whole, the song is just too bland and run-of-the-mill for me. It just doesn't seem like Afi...

I hate Miss Murder.

The thing that annoys me the most is Davey singing in that low register though. That is not the voice I have come to love over the years...

its the 29th of May for the UK. And i was thinking about preordering the new cd as well, but I think i may just go down to Best Buy and get it. Unless of course you get free stuff with ordering it. i dont know. but I know that I'm ordering the Miss Murder single and i also found a Wingnut ATASF for 4 bucks. Pretty sweet

The video for Miss Murder is really really cool. It makes the song a lot more bearable for me. Anyone heard Kill Caustic yet? That song brings the mosh. One of their more hardcore-punk/post-hardcore songs. You can find a decent quality vid on youtube.
