the way to do what?
that's awesome, I have like, 5 or 6
Edit posts so you don't post twice in a row. Which dvd would you say's the best?
Any more spam and i'm going to kill you
lol |
I got "Over My Head (Better Off Dead)" and "My Direction" demos a while ago, and they are really good. I love Sum 41, even though I barely play them enough nowadays.
I think I've outgrown all their albums, but they are still one of the best pop-punk mainstream bands I know. |
'fo sho.
DTLI is actually a pretty incredible album. |
Which dvd would you say's the best?
um, not really easy to say, but I think Sake Bombs and Happy Endings is the best even though it only works on my computer, not on my dvd players. I have: Introduction To Destruction Live From Astoria London Cross Your T's and Gouge Your Eyes Sake Bombs and Happy Endings Bring the Noise I think that's it, I plan on getting their new one when it comes out |
A DVD came with the Japanese version of Chuck, with a special 10-song live show. I have the audio version of it.
|
Okay guys, are you ready for this?
Sum 41 is releasing their new live cd/dvd dual disc album on the 16th of november and it is called "Happy Live Surprise" I can't wait Deryck changed his hair again, it's like, spikey and stuff and it's a blone-orange look The War-Child Documentary: Rocked - Sum 41 in Congo hits stores november 29th, get stoked No Reason is being considered for a new single/video, so that should be AMAZING Chuck is Double-Platinum in Canada and Gold in US there's all the news you need to know for now (no the dvd dual disc is not the already filmed dvd, it is some live footage from Japan apparently) EDIT:
A DVD came with the Japanese version of Chuck, with a special 10-song live show. Basically, with Chuck I have:
Japanese Bonus DVD (In MP3) Special Tour Bonus Edition CD (5 acoustic songs) I used to have the original Japanese retail, with the 3 bonus tracks ("Noots", new version of "Moron" and another song I forgot), but I got rid of it I think. |
The War-Child Documentary: Rocked - Sum 41 in Congo hits stores november 29th, get stoked
I've seen that on MuchMusic twice. I also got to watch it in my Civics class (government). |
Chuck is double-platinum in Canada and US. But people say Sum 41 sucks.
|
They don't suck, but their not the best band ever, either.
|
I have Cross your T's and Gouge your eyes. It's pretty cool.
What's going to be on the dual disc? I mean, what songs are on it? |
Chuck is double-platinum in Canada and US. But people say Sum 41 sucks.
double platinum in the US? i doubt that |
hey everyone! I'm a MAJOR sum 41 fan. I've got every album that they've put out. But I want to know if there's more Sum 41. Here are all the songs I got made by them. Are there any others? If so please tell me!

|
What's going to be on the dual disc? I mean, what songs are on it?
it's just a concert audio, whatever songs they did for Go Chuck Youself EDIT:
hey everyone! I'm a MAJOR sum 41 fan. I've got every album that they've put out. Ja Rule, Nelly, and DJ Clue) Enter Sandman (part of the Metallica Medly involving For Whom the Bell Tolls) Rock You (I believe originally by Helix, they have a version) That's Alright Mama (Elvis cover) Rock Medly (ft. Rob Halford and Tommy Lee) Lust for Life (live with Iggy Pop) and they did some solo from a song I've never heard before, I can't help you with the name of it |
Woah there are some that I did miss! Well I was wondering where I can find those then. I haven't seen them in cds. Wasn't there a song they made called "Bad Brains"?
|

I have no ideo, they also made a song in 1998 called Astronaut, I have the tape that has it on it, it's really rare, but I can't get the whole song on my comp or give it to anyone, and anything you find on the internet over it is just part of the song |

Well what tape did you get it from? Also if you don't know where I can get the songs, how do you know them? I tried bearshare, but nothing came up. Got any suggestions? |
Well what tape did you get it from? Also if you don't know where I can get the songs, how do you know them? I tried bearshare, but nothing came up. Got any suggestions?
the tape is called Punk No Die, and it's really rare, I got it from eBay really luckily. I don't know where you can get them, but I've been lucky enough to find them along the way
how long is Astronaught? I some how got a holf od it, but it's only like 45 seconds. what tape is it from?
yeah, it's like, a little over 2 minutes or something like that, not too long and not too good, but still worth it EDIT: guys, I'm grounded, so I won't be on for awhile unless I get on at school, so I'll leave you with one last news update, the live cd/dvd called Happy Live Surprise has been post poned from coming out today untill December 21st maybe later, sorry EDIT: whichever songs you want dude I'll post them, so just ask |
Okay, I'm posting twice because editing posts (while being a stupid idea in the first place) doesn't bump up threads to let someone know that something in the thread has been changed
if you want any of those songs you can't find anywhere then I'll give them to you (sum41fan) |
oh that'll be great! I added you to my buddy list in aim. I"m rocketsjammer1
thanks a bunch! |
oh that'll be great! I added you to my buddy list in aim. I"m rocketsjammer1
thanks a bunch!
yeah about that, I need to update my profile kinda, the only AIM I use anymore is MstrBrightside 7, so you need to add that one, sorry 'bout that |

EDIT: Rocked: Sum 41 in Congo is out on DVD, go buy it |
Im amazed there are still die hard Sum 41 fans, I used to be obsessed with them, I learned all of the albums (and then some) on drums, but then I realized, that Dave is really the only one with any amount of "star worthy" talent, and then It kicked in that, they are main stream, why would I bother listning to music that sounds like every other song on the radio, Im not gonna lie to you guys, you ahve to start listning to real music, stuff that takes talent to paly, and actually means somthing. Yeh, its pathetic that I came here just to post this, but It had to be siad, Sum 41 is a main stream band (not bad, just main stream) and its pathetic to see people who ahve there lives revolve around them.

Did you do the ban/change avatar thingy again Spence?
EDIT: I saw it in the Tell the Mods thread. Nice. |

Really? Sum 41 are well known for copying other peoples songs |
gaaaah people are so ****ing retarded.
you think that just because a band has fans it means they're bad? oh noes, they have enough talent to have more than 6 fans, they must suck. shut the **** up. |
Really? Sum 41 are well known for copying other peoples songs
Right. So because there is so many musicians coming up with so many different melodies that every single song in the entire world will sound completely and entirely different. That's so totally true. I mean, never in a ka-zillion years will we ever have a song that sounds almost, but not quite, similar to the other. Hey, I'm sure Bitter End was six or seven minutes long, with even really long riffs. Someone should screw the tuning because we don't want two A's sounding the same, oh the shame! Oh yeah, and the ABCs ripped off Twinkle Twinkle Little Star? Holy cow! |
