Jaundice 11-18-2009 08:39 PM

what's his more glitchy breakcore type stuff?

All i have is Chosen Lords, I still haven't listened to it but I want to say it leans toward experimental house music.

Meatplow 11-19-2009 12:25 AM

i'm not sure about his other pseudonysms, glitchy breakcore didn't seem to be a complete focus for any one of his LP's as Aphex Twin though

Jaundice 11-19-2009 12:36 AM

but but i remember some girl playing a really glitchy thing for me and saying it was aphex twin

oh well i'll listen to hiim anyway

Txus 11-19-2009 08:13 AM

he's never done glitchy breakcore like bong ra and stuff like that with amen breaks etc.

the closest thing that comes to mind is the richard d. james album.

Meatplow 11-19-2009 11:36 AM

Come to Daddy gives most people the wrong impression about his work I think.

I'm about 6 years too late but I can't stop listening to Günther, album is so ridiculous.

Meatplow 11-19-2009 09:25 PM

I have had a Der Blutharsch album for over 2 years now and have never listened to it

Txus 11-19-2009 09:28 PM

Why? :( and which one?

Meatplow 11-19-2009 09:30 PM

it's on my disconnected external harddrive, i'll get the name of it later

I was just downloading miscellaneous stuff out of the industrial category off of a torrent site, it wasn't until recently I started hearing them namedropped

Txus 11-19-2009 09:33 PM

I think only Ron listens to them in here, it's quite sad since they are so freaking good.

Definitely re-download their stuff or something :)

What songs do you listen to when you feel like getting away from everyone and everything? Songs to space out to? Need some new songs/recommendations..

Some interesting ones/examples: -Dayvan Cowboy and Seven Forty Seven by Boards of Canada

-Every Day a Story by Fragile State
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSAa1ZllF5Y

-Fairytale by Jon Hopkins

Meatplow 11-20-2009 02:26 AM

Yeah, Dayvan Cowboy rules hard. Just about all BoC has that effect on me though.

You might like Stendeck, I could imagine listening to this sort of thing if I was in that mood. Also, try these if you haven't already -

The Flashbulb - Kirlian Selections
Mrs. Jynx - The Standoffish Cat
Autechre - Amber

Jaundice 11-20-2009 06:56 AM

Thread needs more first and second wave industrial and cheesy post-industrial shootoffs

and less electronica

Meatplow 11-20-2009 10:59 AM

electronica is a ridiculous umbrella term popularised by the MTV generation

Nepenthe 11-20-2009 01:37 PM

downtempo

Jaundice 11-20-2009 03:22 PM
Thread needs more first and second wave industrial and cheesy post-industrial shootoffs
any music out side of the above^^^ genres which includes significant electronic instrumentation

Meatplow 11-20-2009 03:24 PM

synthpop?

i'm listening to strawberry switchblade, it's pretty fruity

I like this one

Jaundice 11-20-2009 03:33 PM

downloading that album soon

which one would you pick, the quintessentially 80's one of the left or the quintessentially 80's one on the right ?

Meatplow 11-20-2009 03:38 PM

they look the same I can't distinguish one from the other

I hate when women do that

Meatplow 11-27-2009 04:51 AM

Anyone into Chris Clark? Clarence Park is really good

Jaundice 11-27-2009 09:38 AM

triple post

Meatplow 11-27-2009 09:39 AM

everyone is calling me out of that tonight lol

I suppose I should set an example and use the edit button.

Jaundice 11-27-2009 09:42 AM

i've never cared for the edit button

Meatplow 11-27-2009 09:43 AM

it has always been the least of my concerns :(

I listened to Dan Deacon earlier, some fun analogue electronics and percussive elements if a little too hipsterish for my tastes. At least, with Bromst.
