^ It'd be awesome if it was both.

Popeye + Pre-Ernieball Stingray :D

UncleJam 07-20-2004 12:16 AM

My Popeye is playing a vintage Fender.

I'm not even sure how far Stingrays go back...

Foxfire 07-20-2004 12:17 AM

And UncleJam, about that Pipe Tobacco thread, some people prefer talking to bassists about mindless banter because, well...bassists are gods. Simple as that. Makes them feel better.

... but I couldn't find a Dean that looked good with him. The Fender fit (besides, Popeye's old, Fender is old). ;)

Jim Hull 07-20-2004 03:17 AM

Its funny how things change. When I was young, I was very slim, never skinny skinny, but a nice, slim build. Its amazing that over 2-3 years I put on so much weight, I dont even recognise myself! Has anyone ever tried to loose weight? Its so hard. Im trying to cut down, exercise more, but its bloody hard. Anyone else struggling with anything at the moment?

gaslight 07-20-2004 03:21 AM

I'm struggling to gain muscle and tone it so I don't look like such a junkie ho.

Jim Hull 07-20-2004 03:23 AM

 Keep trying!
Yea, maybe we can start it up again soon...

pixiesfanyo 07-20-2004 06:04 AM

sanray 07-20-2004 09:05 AM

LiterCola 07-20-2004 09:07 AM

Heh. I'm like 6 foot and weigh about 180, I'm ashamed of my love handles. Other than those I don't really look fat or anything.

bassopotomous 07-20-2004 09:20 AM

I like chicken fingers.

casbah rocker 07-20-2004 09:29 AM

Im pretty skinny, and im not actually trying to lose weight, but im trying to maintain my weight. I need to stay under 150 pounds (im currently 148) to stay a lightweight for crew next year. It's hard just doing that, so i feel sorry for you Jim (my name is also Jim)

ps. crew=rowing its awesome, LR have you ever heard of the Stotesbury Regatta on the Schulkill (sp?) River?

pixiesfanyo 07-20-2004 09:53 AM

Bassopotomus I like chicken fingers also..with BBQ sauce

SporKsBaSSisT 07-20-2004 10:19 AM

I'm like 5'10'' or 11'', 160lbs.

I'm pretty fit, heh. Football tends to force you to be, if you play wide receiver/cornerback.

JoeDaddio 07-20-2004 11:52 AM

I'm 6'4''... unless I'm wearing my boots, which give me another 3 inches or so. And as for weight... I haven't weighed myself in a while, but I'll give myself about 250-260. I was in a lot better shape when I was playing rugby.

ScorpSath 07-20-2004 12:09 PM

2nd row monster?
I'm breakaway forward.

Ruhtra 07-20-2004 12:10 PM

I'm 6' and 170 lbs. I do a lot of walking and rollerblading, so my legs are pretty well built, my upper body strength is ok, not good, ok.

UncleJam 07-20-2004 01:05 PM
I like chicken fingers.
What part of the chicken are the 'fingers' from, anyways?

Wintermute 07-20-2004 04:13 PM

I've got to give a round of applause to LR here - I don't have nearly as many problems in my life, as far as I can see, and those I do are much less severe, but I'd be much more reluctant to talk about them than she is, even so.

Keep on fighting, keep on playing.

*hugs*

Chaos 07-20-2004 04:26 PM
