dram theater sound the same as the earlier albums on ToT they have just taken some new effects and stuff which take a bit of getting used to, it sounds great to me.

Dream Theater are really starting to grow on me. Like a few days ago, I listened to a song on 6DOIT other then The Glass Prison, called Blind Faith, and I now think that this possibly tops it! One of the most beautiful recordings ever. I can't wait for the rest of the album to grow on me!

I downloaded 9..."Official Bootlegs", which includes Master of Puppets and Number of the Beast covers on it. And some live stuff.

I'm sure it's been mentioned, but I must have missed it. Anyone else excited about the Megadeth/DT headlined tour coming up?! I can't wait for them to come back here, got into them right after they came by last summer. :(

I'm excited that DT are touring, but I'm not excited that it's with Megadave. I definitly think they could have chosen someone better.

No and no. Dave chose them, as sack-man mentioned, and what better bands than Megadeth are touring this summer (cept maybe Maiden)

There are plenty of bands that are touring, Mars Volta for one, Maiden for another, and Opeth(most likely) for a third. I would take almost any band over Megadave, the way they are now.

Mars Volta wouldn't mix with DT, Opeth would be cool. I prefer Deth though obviously. I take it you didn't see them their last time around the States... they still put on a sick live show, even if Dave's the only original.

A DT/Mars Volta, would be interesting I think. But wont Dave be supporting the new album this time around? I'd rather not see that.

Uhh he supported it last time, I bet he'll mix it up a bit more this time.

Though I like both, many 'Deth fans don't like DT. Mars Volta would make more sense.

i like both as well.
