My lastfm list isn't very exciting! I guess I'll have to start making fake ones again :-/
Please don't. It takes away from how funny you are in everything but those. |
Somewhere out there, there is a band called Manfactory. -10/10

Today I'm digging David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust. Possibly the most influential singer/songwriter album of the 1970s.
Tom Petty - various
"I Won't Back Down", "The Waiting", "Refugee", "You Wreck Me", holy crap. Some of the best rock/pop songs ever written.
Fuck yeah, Tom Petty is awesome. |
I second your fuck yeah.

Fuck yeah.
I'm listening to Tool - Ĉnima. |
"Temptation" is the greatest pop song ever written. I would go as far as to say it is my favourite song ever.
I'm always hesitant to make bold statements like that, but seriously, pop doesn't get much better than that.
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon I always tend to put this one aside because of the over exposure and because it's just not my favorite Pink Floyd album. However, I was listening to it while driving home tonight and it really just seemed to fit the mood perfectly. |
Wire - Pink Flag
Competely unrelated to Zappa's avatar, I swear. I just downloaded it and it is great. |

Dowsing Anemone With Copper Tongue cuts me to the core. |

We listened to Dub Side of the Moon at work today

The Little Ones - Sing Song EP
This is really good. Nice, nice indie pop. |
Britney Spears

Gnarls Barkley and fIREHOSE.
|
Hahahaha, dude, Gnarls Barkley was seriously the gayest thing I've ever heard. My friend made me download a song and it was god awful. No offense to you or anything, I just think Gnarls Barkley is gay.
|
I'm not sure why Amazon felt it necessary to so heartily recommend to me the forthcoming Twilight Singers release, but it has at least got me listening to Gentlemen again.

best post ever amirite |
Beulah
Clutch Rwake QotSA I like when my band names fit neatly into a block formation. |
The Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots
I'm too poor right now to afford their new album, so I'll just rock out to this this sunny afternoon. |
MF Doom
Frodus Panthers Hot Snakes My friend got me into Frodus, who play "pseudo-emo post-hardcore punk". They're not at all mindblowing but I hear some NoU influences here and there, which is good enough for me. |
Joy Division - Closer
Still don't really like this album very much. It's OK, I guess. |
I'm liking the Kooks more than I expected to.
|
Flaming Lips- "Hit to Death in the Future Head"
disgustingly underrated. why doesn't anybody ever talk about this? it's so cool, you can tell it's the Flaming Lips, but the style is wayyyy out there. like loud, noisy, distorted and fuzzy crazy psychedelic punk, with all the fun melodies that make the Lips who they are. |
Yeah that's my opinion of Closer too.
Is Unknown Pleasures better? |
Modern Life is War - Witness
Probably one of the most emotional albums I've ever listened too. |
