Well I wasn't looking at it through a business perspective because nothing is coming out of my pocket, do you mean pay the extra for the press or people paying the extra to obtain the finished product? If it is the latter I always notice vinyl being on par or cheaper than most CDs in stores. Vinyl is undeniably better quality than a CD, analog recordings sound so much better.

vinyl is great just not the most convenient unfortunately

then again when im listening to music in that format i tend to sit there and actually listen to the music more

Matter of opinion really but I buy vinyl when I can.

I buy releases that actually lend themselves to vinyl.

For example I'm listening to Hinder's debut on vinyl right now.
