my calculus test is in an hour and a half. good luck Epiphender on yours.
That's why I would never go to a Uni. I can barely understand algebra.

This december im thinking of attending a Community college for a music theory class.

LoneStarDrummer 10-20-2005 10:05 AM

most likely around the end of next week, other companies are going on strike to support the teachers, so that will force the government to start negotiating.

Jezen 10-20-2005 12:08 PM

Awww guys, my mum came home from Australia today. She brought me back the video camera and simply said "It's yours now". :)

Woohoo this is so cool. I'm just watching all our old footage, of what my life used to be like...with all my best friends....that are all so far away..

I miss my friends :upset:

Drum Phil 10-20-2005 12:22 PM

Bless. But darlo is so much better than australia innit.

LoneStarDrummer 10-20-2005 12:38 PM

DAG GUM

my calculus test is over. the professor thought it would be funny if he put some trick questions in there. plus i forgot the definition of a tangent equation and the implicit deferintiation equation. other that that i did pretty well

jsut thought i'd let you all know because i know you'll have loosing sleep worrying about my test.

now i can focus on my drum solo/performance my parents asked me to play for our halloween/family reunion on the 29th.

Futuro 10-20-2005 12:51 PM

What does music theory help you for??? Job Wise.... I'm just wondering...

RushHourSoul 10-20-2005 01:21 PM

Session musician... Professional musician.. Its better if you're going to be playing classical music though and play a lot of concerts. However its a skill every musician should have.

Brokensticks 10-20-2005 01:23 PM

True, I play Greenday/Guns N Roses/Nirvana type stuff..... Would it be worth it?

LoneStarDrummer 10-20-2005 01:27 PM
God i hate having to shave my own hair. Takes forever
i haven't officially shaved in several weeks. i've just been using one of those electric hair trimmers, like the barbers use and cutting my facial hair as close to the skin as i can.

last time i used a razor it was a Mach 4. that thing ripped up my face, so i had to go back to the Mach 3. i got that M4 gillete razor for free, because they were givining them away for free on campus. it was one of those facy ones where the handle was metal and you only replaced the blades. i know why they were free though. that fourth blade goes straight through the top few layers of skin.

Brokensticks 10-20-2005 01:29 PM

I think he meant the top of his head.....
True, I play Greenday/Guns N Roses/Nirvana type stuff..... Would it be worth it?
Well, it might be. It will basically make you a better drummer, you will understand what you're playing and why you are playing it. It might help to take up an instrument like the piano if your planning on doing a music theory course as you'll be learning about melody too, not just rhythm.

Also if thats all your playing (sorry if that isnt true) then i recommend listening to some other genres apart from rock: jazz, funk, afrocuban/latin, theres plenty.
I think he meant the top of his head.....
damn, i feel dumb now. anywho i still hate shaving my face.
I think he meant the top of his head.....
I have to shave the sides of my moheaken. I dont shave my face that much, i prefer the rugged look

spike9908 10-20-2005 01:59 PM
