Yeah, the little prick was taking the same Math classes that I took junior year in 8th grade. They won't be able to teach him anything by the time he's a sophomore. I heard about the shirt thing through his sister, but thankfully both his parents are lawyers so the school can't touch him. Don't tell me about LP being far away, I lived in Oak Park so it took an hour each mornig to get there. Micheal now lives about 10 minutes from where I used to live so he has the same problem. Serves him right.

LOL. :p
I'd have to take 2-3 buses and the brown line to get to LP. :( So yeah. We'll see. It's interesting though, people from Northside tell me the EXACT same things about people from Lincoln Park, and vice versa. :p |
I have to go between two schools during the day.... it blows....

Cubs own jews? Yar. joe
yes. |
Super, I quite liked parts(the ones that weren't Chinatown or the Ghetto) of the Southside. There are some great bands there that don't get nearly enough coverage in the northside clubs like the fireside or elbow room. If you guys ever want to gig up there, look for a place called hotti biscotti on Fullerton Ave.(3545, I think). They're a small bar that can't afford to pay anyone, but the people there are really supportive and nice. Shoot for a Saturday gig, it'll be really full.
Fox, yeah there's a bit of rivalery between Northside and LP, but LP is way more ghetto with a ton of gang connections, so therefore LP kicks Northsides butt. Actually we were just jealous that Northside could afford nice things such as computers and so on. |
yes.
Thought so. Yar. joe |
look for some gigs on the East side, or even inside Indiana, around Hammondish....
|
Look for some gigs in the basement of 1109 Oxford.
I shall be there waiting, Mitchell. I have a lock of your hair, and a precious item of yours. All I need now is your presence to complete the ritual. Yar. joe |
Hmm...will DEFINITELY look into it. We just got through a round of playing gigs at some sorta scummy places, so a place where the people are decent would be a nice change. |

I'll try not to. And by the way, who made your altar? It's really nice. Yar. joe |
My altar? That old thing? I bought it at the "going out of business" sale after that cult got disbanded a few years ago.
|
Remember? There was a big riot on Indianapolis Blvd, then the cops came.......
|
Ehhm e p, I don't live in chicago anymore so I'm sorry to disappoint as I would've been up for a bit of satanism. Ahh, I miss those cult days.
|
Yeah, guys. It's pretty fun actucally.
Hold on, my goat is making a fuss... Yar. joe |
**** goat should know its place.
|
Hold on EP, give me three hours and I'll help....
|
I think I shall just sacrifice my goat and move onto virgins.
Luckily I bought this carving knife from some guy named Star. He wanted me to drink the magic kool-aid. Yar. joe |

These threads go really too fast for me...
12 new pages in a night...overhelming |
What did I miss.
|
Super, If you want a really scumme gig sometime(you know, for those masochistic moments) look for The Mutiny. I've heard about shows with chickenwire there.

hey people, my first post in casual 12! (i havent been able to get online much)
well anyway, my life is the usual... ****! but my new minidisc player arrived today which made me very happy! Im in love with it already! I had my first bass lesson with my teacher in ages, he kind of stopped giving me them but now hes giving me them now and im happy with how it went today, hes really good since i last saw him and he said ive improved loads since he last saw me which is good! :D it was quite funny because for the first 10 minutes it felt like i was teaching him, i taught him how to play john the fisherman, jerry was a race car driver and frizzle fry! meh, i feel like all my friends are against me at the moment, im sick of just about everyone in my school and i might just go into invisible-ness for the rest of year 11, eg. I just hang around with them but just listen to my music and just dont talk, its weird, over the past year i have grown to liking being alone, i find it nice and peaceful! It'll all change once i leave year 11 and go into college! I cant wait! oh yeah! my new job! well. i now have a job.... its working at the local indian restuarant, a terrible job! It is terrible because: 1) Its on a friday night 2) Im working 5pm to 11:30pm 3) All i do is wash dishes and fetch food out the giant freezer for him 4) and how much do i get paid for 6 and a half hours? 15 pounds! then again, it is money in my pocket! and that means ill be making £80 a month! (£60 from working and £20 pocket money) ahh well, so hows everyone, anyone up to anything interesting at the moment? |
