I'm really digging Digital Ashes In A Digital Urn By Bright Eyes, its just so different than his other stuff. Some find him boring but I think his work is great. I am also currently liking Of Montreal- Satanic Panic In The Attic, and Figure 8 by Elliott Smith. I bought them all on christmas day and am very happy with the three.

Oh it was! It was magnificent, she entranced every single soul in the place, and we all had a hazy gaze in our eyes after it. As mellow and intimate as gig could ever be. She rules.
Thats terrible party music; so low key and down-beat for the most part.

Good albums though.
Maybe I like to party low key and down-beat?

I've only got Finally We Are No One. It's a great album, but after I listened to it a few times, I could never really be bothered listening to any of the songs other than "Green Grass of Tunnel". Do their other albums have more songs like that?

Kool Aid 01-01-2006 01:37 AM

I've been really into The Flaming Lips.
I don't listen to much like them, so it's really refreshing to hear something new. Only problem is I let my girlfriend borrow the CD and now I can't listen to it! :-/
