Blood on Ice could have been such a failure. It really treads on thin ice (pardon the pun). There are some really gay parts to it, and some alright parts. Its certainly no Hammerheart but it's an alright album. It could have been a complete flop but it managed to stay above board.

Blood On Ice isnt that good. I havent heard Hammerheart. Blood Fire Death is amazing though.

I haven't made my mind up about nordland. It's definitely not as good as the early stuff but its got some merit. Definitely the best stuff since blood on ice, perhaps better than blood on ice and hence just behind twilight of the idols.

Twilight of the Gods is good, aswell. The title track is by far the best song on the album for me, though.
