St.Anger was the only awful album they did and it wasn't all bad, there was a few good songs. If you dont like anything after AJFA then good for you and shut up about it, This is a Metallica thread and no one cares if you dislike it.

2 things, firstly is this album gonna be another downtuned, no solos, openmiced drums album? and secondly most of you people who say st anger is crap have probably just heard another person sayin its crap and thought thas the cool thing to do, f u actually listen to it its a good album( nothin compared to their other stuff tho)

Then perhaps you should say "I don't like them" instead of "They are crap." It's much simpler.

You could say why, as in poor production, repetitive riffs etc.... If you do it this way it just looks like you aren't mindlessly flaming the band, and appears as discussion instead.

exactly, you can't just go around and say it's crap unless you have reasons to say it's crap. st anger was crap because the songs dragged and there were no solos

yes it was. and why? because they had 20 years of putting out amazing hardcore rock and metal. so people bought it because they thought it would be as awesome as everything else they've put out

Actually it should start in my backyard. But seriously, any clue when it'll begin? I can only assume more than 2 onths from now since they are recording their next album.

well i would assume they will tour after the next album comes out, which will probably be 1-3 years from now. last tour was my first metallica concert, i can't wait to go again

yea. not many people give out rep at all. im on 1,300+ posts and only 199 rep

you only give out 2% of your total rep so with that little you're rep won't really be noticable. I always sign mine becuase I hate not knowing who I get them from, and don't want to be a hypocrite.
