I agree, ban them. It's completely stupid.

fwqhgads isn't someone I would call malicious at all. He's a great guy.. more hippy in him than demon.. or something, and he doesn't deserve to be banned for a joke.

It's rather tiresome, and was only funny when Impaled Northern Moonforest did it. Too many people have done that before thinking they're oh-so hilarious. Perhaps a ban is a bit harsh, admittingly.

Th only reason I did it, was because I thought, well hey, if one of these guys came into the Jazz forum, or Classic Rock thread, whatever, I would get a good laugh out of it. But if you feel that I need a ban for it, I think that your opinion should be heard.

To above, like I said, I'm simply tired of people doing that. It was funny the first time it was done, but now it's just boring. Also, I often get a laugh out of things making fun of black metal, just not when it's overdone...

I seem to remember a thread I made and Dargon's thread causing quite the uproar because people's musical tastes were getting offended (Then being quickly deleted). Take your own advice, eh? I, for one, do not care if anyone makes fun of my music, real life people do it all the time and it does not phase me one bit.

Just to clear things up, I had no part in that.

And I'd like to appologize, it was 1:30 AM and I was in need of sleep, and not in the mood for that sort of thing. I wasn't really offended, but more annoyed. I usually don't mind stupid jokes such as that.

Further, they're entirely different circumstances. Anti-semitism and homophobia are justified (I suppose) in your community of tr00ness, but when they infiltrate to other portions of R&M, that's simply not allowed. You guys can idolize Hitler and Goering all you want in your thread, but they committed suicide for a reason, hahaha.

At any rate, everybody seems to have apologized for such ridiculous drama, so I'm laidback about whatever. I trust that they're not going to come back, and if they do, we can take care of it.

Ultimately, I do empathize how irritating it is when people invade your thread/forum, but using Dargon justification isn't going to cut it because those two threads happened on R&M itself, which it should not be subjected to, whereas the gimmick band happened in your thread. If you want, I can remove those posts, but since there was 1) an apology, and 2) members of your thread understanding that it was a joke, I would hope that you can move on and continue your anti-mallcore and pro-Zyklon-B ways.
