FM, welcome to the Titans thread.
I'm TheChosenOnes, I've been here before. :p

Thanks a ton for the recommendations though, that ought to keep me busy for a while.

I've heard Sauron (US) is good, I saw Dargon mention them one time.
^^Sabbat, Death Angel.
Ah yes, I just checked out Sabbat. I haven't really listened yet though. I wasn't too facinated with the Death Angel I heard, which was "Act III" or something.
If you haven't heard Dark Angel...which I'm sure you may have and just didn't put it on your list, check them out
First line of my list, :p.

RCA 08-11-2005 07:05 PM

DURR, that's right.

Welcome BACK, Freezing Moon.

Terrorzone 08-11-2005 07:06 PM

Act III sucks. Buy The Ultra-Violence.

RavenousMetalist87 08-11-2005 07:17 PM

OH ZOUNDS WITH THE NEW FACES GONE, CHANGED WITH THE EYES OF DEAD MAN, WHILE SEEING THROUGH THE HEAD OF LIES, IN THE APPENDAGE OF A NEW BRAINCASE.

Ahh. I was blasting some thrash today again. w00t for me. This time it was Vio-Lence and the 'Kill.

I'm going to do it again for the next few days

P.S. - I'll be legally 18 at Midnight tonight :chug:

Terrorzone 08-11-2005 07:25 PM

Haha, congradulations, I just turned 16 today. :thumb:

Happy B-day :chug:

How's your car treating you, Terrorzone?

Terrorzone 08-11-2005 07:32 PM

I only have joint custody of it. I drove around the neighborhood today though. I really should get a permit.

Will do. I've heard of them before.

First line of my list, :p.
Yeah, sometimes I don't read thoroughly...sorry

Apocalyptic Raids 08-11-2005 09:53 PM

Freezing Moon, also try some Forbidden. Forbidden Evil is a decent album, try the songs Through Eyes Of Glass, Forbidden Evil and Chalice Of Blood. Quality stuff, it's sometimes like Maiden on speed.

DimebagDarrell 08-12-2005 05:49 AM

Try Toxik!

n.p. Destruction - intro/total desater

Terrorzone 08-12-2005 08:37 AM

Is Forbidden Evil better than Twisted Into Form.

Apocalyptic Raids 08-12-2005 08:40 AM

IMO, yes.

Although they are both kinda inconsistent.

Rising 08-12-2005 08:43 AM

oy, im back,

what do you guys think, is it a good idea to get a Gibson Flyin V ?, the list price was 998, the current price is 659, im payin 72 $, my aunts payin 100$, and my parents are payin the rest, which ill get a job to pay back, anyways is a Gibson V good for thrash

Apocalyptic Raids 08-12-2005 08:47 AM

I've never played a Gibson V myself, although James Hetfield used to use one back in the early 80's, and I think John Connelly uses one to. They do seem to be a good thrash guitar, although it depends on the pickups and amp the most I think (amirite?). Jackson V's are very popular for thrash, you could look at one of them.

Rising 08-12-2005 09:17 AM

thanks

MAthiAS 08-12-2005 03:00 PM

I already recommended the LTD DV8-R for a few more bucks. Gibsons suck IMO, and I absolutely hate the rounded V shape.

RCA 08-12-2005 03:25 PM

Guitars don't fucking matter, it's the riffs you write on them.

Buy the V anyways.

RavenousMetalist87 08-12-2005 05:22 PM

Exactly. :D

/is 18 and already getting bitched at by a friend  only because I didn't feel comfortable having her at dinner with my other friends...gah.

I will just blast some metal all the way to dinner and enjoy what I have...I'm 18.

Just like that Alice Cooper song.

Corporal Compendia 08-12-2005 05:23 PM

You know guys... Municipal Waste are the coolest band EVER.
Seeing them live last night in Buffalo was too much fun.

CIRCLE PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!
