So hmm...This thread seems sucky right now.

So last week I was at this party at my friends poolhouse-ish deal. He invited a ton of people. At like 11ish, these guys showed up that he didn't invite, so he told them to leave. (They're the dickheaded faggot kind of guys that show up to parties with booze) They were totally smashed, so my friend's mom came outside and just unloaded on their as[B][I][/I][/B]ses. It was one of the top five bit[B][I][/I][/B]chfests I've ever seen.

After that, everyone was watching, and the 'leader' of this clan of fags just reaches out and pokes her boob! :lol: The guy that was hosting the party who was in his swimming suit, bolted for the guy, tackled him and just started wailing on his as[B][I][/I][/B]s. It was awesome. His dad came out side and pulled him off the other guy. His knuckles were so cut up. :amaze:

Anyways, my friend's mom knew the faggot's mom, she gave the other mom a call, and the gay's mom showed up (furious of, course) and brought them all home. :lol:

Other than that, the party was pretty fun. We just sort of hung out, drank Mountain Dew, and sat in his hot tub for hours on end. :p

I have to say I agree with everything you said, allthough I am guilty of spaming in the past (the old thread especially). But incase anyof you haven't noticed, I stoped coming here for a while, because this thread got lame, or maybe I realized how lame it was. I'd probably come here more if those changed were made.

Yeah, I used to post in this thread way back when it was first created. But then it turned into a repfest elitist type thing that moved too fast for me to keep up with. :upset: But tonight, I have made my return!

I am in fanboy overdrive right now! I just got back from the Land of the Dead premiere!

June 22 is now George A. Romero Day in Pittsburgh. I'm not kidding, it's official.

The movie was great. Fantastic writing, superb acting, beautiful set design and sound tech, powerful subtext, and top-knotch gore effects. Romero at his finest. The standard gunshot/biting violence you became accustomed to early on. But the climactic zombie rampage scenes had some very creative work that more than once had me writhing in my seat. And the best part is that the gore didn't overpower the tension and suspense.

There were a bunch of celebrity guests as well. Naturally, the cast and a lot of the crew showed up. But there were also other guests such as Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez, and Bruce Campbell. My brother and I actually got to talk briefly with Robert Rodriguez and get his autograph.

To top things off, I talked to Tom Savini after the show and he agreed to do a video interview for my college TV station's Halloween special.

As you can imagine, I am quite a happy guy.

I'm pretty sure that that thread was doomed from the start. However, I keep checking back because your posts are very helpful. That thread made me realize that I don't know anything that I could play for an informal audience. So I'm learning "Midnight" now. :p

It takes practice, but on the whole it was much less difficult than it appears.

On the other hand, I'm a fingerstyle player, so maybe that was it. :-/

Ha, my guitar teacher told me I was a good bass player when he heard me play bass. I play bass exactly how I play guitar, becuase I can't be bothered to learn to play it properly. I hate the sound of a pick, but I don't like playing with my fingers.

Wow, I finally found black metal with production that is too terrible for me. :eek: Vlad Tepes' La Morte de la Lune demo, honestly avoid it. I can just barely hear the song, it's that fuzzy. When I first put it on I thought it was just static.

Our girlfriends are so different, Ray. Mine doesn't usually ask me to play guitar for her: she thinks the "serenading" thing is too cheesy, and plus she's quite a competent singer herself so she's not apt to be impressed even by impressive guitar playing.

She won't even let me write a love song or dedicate anything to her when I perform. :( And I can write a doozy of a love song if I wanted, let me tell you.
