It was my pleasure.

I have never done a live track with more than one person with this set-up. I've never even tried to find out if GarageBand could handle recording two tracks at once, and I don't think recording in stereo with a different mic for each channel would be a very good strategy. However, I made sure before I bought this thing that it was designed and properly balanced to run an active mixer into one of the channels, going from there into GB mono. So, if you wanted to record live, you could do so with perfect quality, but it would require another piece of equipment.
Bringin it back. I think I discovered Doom because of that avatar. And it's too irresistable; someone's got to have it.
Wheelz should come back. :(

Zappa 08-02-2005 10:41 AM
So wait....do you agree or disagree with it?
No, I wrote what was posted here. A comment on live journal that you have not seen was what pissed me off.

Iai 08-02-2005 10:43 AM

Ah, get you now.

masada 08-02-2005 11:49 AM

I smell.

masada 08-02-2005 11:51 AM

JonM, that whole recording post confused the **** out of me.

My arm was numb when I woke up this morning =/

Zappa 08-02-2005 12:56 PM

I hate it more when I wake up with my arm on my eyes, because then I have a headache and am partially blinded.

Zappa 08-02-2005 01:00 PM

Mine came with my report card, as I recall. It didn't have my teachers listed, though, just my tentative order of classes. Except for gym, geography, and government, it'll be pretty sweet. AP Physics, AP Calculus, AP English, German IV, and Wind Symphony.

Glitterati 08-02-2005 01:01 PM
Wind Symphony.
Is advanced algebra like a pre-calculus type course?

JonM 08-02-2005 01:21 PM

Ahhh high school.

Zappa 08-02-2005 01:22 PM

Ah, okay. Like an algebra 2 class, basically.

6Stringer 08-02-2005 01:22 PM
Awesome. What's the top speed?
I have no clue, I looked at the model of it on the Kubota website and it said 9.0 mph. I know that has to be wrong.

I figure the second I start changing my avatar by popular demand is the second I become a nerd-o, right?

Iai 08-02-2005 01:24 PM

On a vaguely related trans-atlantic note, I sent off my module selection form for University a couple days back.

On top of my compulsory modules (Music in Context, Intro To Media, Intro to Popular Culture), I selected Popular Music 1, Performance, and Foundations In Sound Technology. This means opting out of Foundation In Music Studies. I almost wish I could have taken all 7.

I'm majoring in Music with a minor in Media & Popular Culture, in case that wasn't clear.

Zappa 08-02-2005 01:24 PM

Pretty trees.

Yeah, American Studies.

I'm guessing, since I'm studying at Uni level, it'll come up in my course too.

It was :( I give it a 4/10, I had to take 6 points of because of the staleness around the edges and that it tasted bland after a few minutes.

Glitterati 08-02-2005 02:39 PM

I had two pieces of toast and a glass of Diet Coke for lunch. Yum.

I just finished reading Fight Club.

I finished reading Ender's Shadow last night, its a side story in the Ender's Game series by Orson Scott Card. Now I have to read The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom and I'm finished with summer reading!

My hair is undergoing a magical transformation tomorrow. (It currently looks like Nacho's only less dark) It's getting cut and then I'm gonna gel it like a messed up/spiky type look. Except my hair is kinda thin so it's probably going to go horribly wrong.

It better work :

I'll post pics anyway. (if I remember)

A Goonie 08-02-2005 02:53 PM

you should, my hair is short and kinda spiky, good luck
