bought my plane tickets today!! my gf and i decided to save loads of money by skipping going to Sweden and Italy, so we are just going to Paris, France before our month stay in Cambridge. we will also go to Dublin for a couple days during a 3-day weekend.

7/25-8/1 in Paris, France.
8/2-9/5 in Cambridge, England (the program also has a 5 day trip to Scotland for the Edingburgh Festival, and a day trip to London)
8/22-8/24 in Dublin, Ireland.

I recommend you El Angel Exterminador and Simon del Desierto, Buñuel at it's finest IMO.

Watching the end scene felt like seeing my favorite band in concert. The combination of Bunuel, Dali and Sade was just too fiyah. I'll look into those other ones though.

I want to make some surrealist films. I have one in mind but the production costs would be too high so it should never materialize. But I want to do a short film where McDonald's employees fly to Africa and give kid's meals to starving children, with cheesy music in the background. It would be intellectual.

And, yes, the end is ****ing epic, I felt Un Chien was more of a Dali movie though, thats why I consider El Angel and Simon better Buñuel films.
