Wow, I'm glad I bought all of my Opeth CD's, I could of missed out on the Incantations which make me love Opeth so much, but what about the people that Download Opeth? So many people are missing out on the incantations!!

When I read this I literally laughed for over 20 minutes. Seriously, this dude must be really high up in the music industry to know so much about it [I]or[/I] he's a 43 year old night manager at Wendy's who has never been with anyone, collects Diet Dr. Pepper caps, has no kids, and has never read the bible but likes to preach to 15 year old female employees about how God saves and music is the devil to scare them into converting into his psycho babble BS so he feels better at night before he cries his pathetic life to sleep.

They're not really a Christian band...the songs After Forever and Lord of This World and Into the Void have a pretty Christian slant to them but most other Sabbath references to religion are along the lines of "Don't need it/want it, etc."

Perhaps they briefly converted while making the Master of Reality album?

But yeah, to call Sabbath or Opeth Satanic is really dumb.

Also, in defence of that christian thing, only one person mentioned that opeth was satantic, and everyone else in the thread pretty much owned him.

I watched the lamentation dvd, i saw him playing something with his mouth(and his mouth alone). And that was the only sound in that sound that's not guitar, drums, or bass.
