That's they reaction they feed off of. Generally, I don't feel bad staring because of that.
Friday, some kid was wearing reflective aviator sunglasses in school. I turned a corner and my handsome reflection (:)) in his shades startled me. I think he was pleased however.
Everyone has a reaction they feed off. For most of us, though, it's usually the appreciative stares of the womenfolk. |
But I don't really understand why these people would sacrifice their beauty, health, or even job opportunities just to piss off their parents.

That's why I call it rebel without a clue. These people are so wrapped up in trying to make a statement about something they don't understand and can't even name, that they go to extremes and then blame the rest of the "system" for not putting up with their immature whims. |
Besides, when you see someone who's spiked their hair up to look a giant sea urchin, you'd think doing a doubletake and having a "WTF?!" moment would be giving them what they want.
I prefer the "punch in the face" reaction myself. |
The worst haircut I ever received was a military cut. My head looked like a square :upset:
My mom had to use my dad's moustache trimmer to try to save my head. She did, in fact, save my head from looking like a military crew-cut guy. With an electric moustache trimmer. It hurt like hell, but it worked. My mom rules. |

Your dad has a moustache? That's awesome. I've never had a bad haircut, but when my hair gets too long and nappy and it looks like I have a damn gheri curl |
I had such a wonderful time having long hair, and then I go to get it trimmed and he cut it too short on top and left it too long on the sides...and it was trained to curl up at the ends the way wavy long hair does and so I looked like I had little wings growing out of a bowl.
I got it cut to much shorter specifications the day after.
gheri curl
What is this? |
That Star Wars album sounds sexy.
My worst haircut was when I needed a haircut, and the only place in town was a military cut barber. It was winter. It was very very cold. Speaking of social counter-culture...I'm kinda seriously considering getting a tattoo. My parents would probably disown me though. |
So you had the mad scientist look? I'm sorry, but that's a pretty funny mental image.
Speaking of social counter-culture...I'm kinda seriously considering getting a tattoo. My worst hair cut was a few years ago. I tried a new barber shop and they butchered my hair. It was uneven and looked horrible. I had to go to my regular barber and got my head shaved to fix the problem.

I love having long hair after I get out of the shower and for just lounging around, but it's just not practical for my active lifestyle. It generally looks bad pretty quick to; no matter how many times I wash it, it soon looks greasy of unkept. That's why I've been keeping it short for a while. Long in the summer though, hang loose :kowabunga:.
What is this?
It's kinda like a perm for black people. examples: Thriller-era Michael Jackson, Eazy-E, Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction My hair doesn't look quite as exaggerated as the average gheri curl/jerry curl/jheri curl, but you could probably confuse it for one (assuming it's long-ish) |
My rule on haircuts:
Never let asian ladies who have been recently exported and bought their hair cutting license on eBay who work at Supercuts cut your hair. Actually, just don't go to Supercuts at all. |

I've never had a bad haircut except once when I got like 4 inches cut off.
Long hair sucks. |
I've never had a bad haircut except once when I got like 4 inches cut off.
Long hair sucks.
If you can get 4 inches off: your hair is long. I'm not saying yours is though. |
Tattoos are too permanent for my liking.
They are permanent but...I dunno. Just seems like something I'd like to do...and if I do it'll be on my back/upper arm so it won't be that visible. More for me than to show off to other people. Biggest issue is price. I could lose 4 inches and still have decent hair :D |
Whenever I consider getting a tattoo, I just think of myself with the same tattoo in forty years.
|
If I lost 4 inches you could see my brain :/
|
Vince: Get one of those teardrop tatoos, like the Mexican gangs in prison have :p
|

Nah, I went through a stage where I had long hair. Right now it's about three inches. |
Tatoos arent my thing. I wouldn't get one, but I hate it when people bad mouth them.

But I'm not gonna go to prison ever :p (I hope) Actually post a pic though because I don't know what you're talking about... As to having it in 40 years...if I live that long I see no reason I'd really resent it. It's not going to be something real childish or anything. |
