thank you lots :-)
|
Triple Corpse Hammerblow is a good song.
|
I think it's one of the best on the album.
|
Yeah, Chokehold's better though.
|
Yeah I do agree, I think Chokehold is the best song on there, except maybe Bodom Beach Terror, one of my favorite solos of all time.
|
Yeah, Chokehold's better though.
no way!!!! |
no way!!!!
yes way!!!!

Nah dudes. Needled 24/7 is amazing. Sixpounder, great riffs and solo (2nd), Chokehold has amazingly fun riffs to play and a very interesting solo, Bodom Beach Terror is all around sick with a great melodic chorus. Angels Don't Kill is probably my favorite, because of the Keyboards being so well in tact with guitar and the lyrics "Could you ever kill the pain in my heart, even though they say angels don't kill" send shivers through me every time. Triple Corpse Hammerblow has a cool intro and great song structure. You're Better off Dead is alot like Bodom Beach Terror, great chorus. Lil' Bloodred Ridin' Hood shows Alexi's punk side in my opinion. Hate Crew Deathroll is just another fun song to hear like Hate Me! So as you can possibly tell, I love the entire album.
|
Thank you for HCDR in paragraph form.
|
yes way!!!!
 |
I love playing the lead "riff" in Triple Corpse Hammerblow.
Wait... I love playing all Bodom songs... Eh |
what songs do you play already?
|
do u guys like AYDY? at all cuz i really like it but lots of people think it sucks
|
We've debated this for a long time. I think it's OK, nothing compared to the old stuff, but not terrible.
|
what songs do you play already?
I can play at least 80% of them  I don't learn every riff from every song though cause I'll go off them pretty quick otherwise, plus, some of Alexi's solos are a bit out my range at the moment. My favs to play are: Bodom After Midnight Hate Me Warheart Hatebreeder Towards Dead End Black Widow Downfall Sixpounder Chookehold Bodom Beach Terror Triple Corpse Hammerblow Hate Crew Deathroll Living Dead Beat In Your Face Trashed, Lost and Strungout. wow, that's alot eh. |

ya its not what u would expect from COB but it is still a good CD |
Nice list there Mitch. I can play Hate Me and Children of Decadence. All I ever bothered to learn, really.
|
I know a decent amount of riffs, the only complete song I know is Bed of Razors. I knwo all of Warheart but the solo, a fair amount of Black Widow, amongst other things. The only solo I know really well by them besdies Bed of Razors is Silent Night, Bodom Night.
|
yeah thats a lot... :)
AYDY is good... not excellent (though a few songs are fantastic -> if you want peace .... prepare for war - the riff is amazing) |
AYDY is a different style from many other albums that Alexi produced where he uses a harder, less complicated style of playing.
The vocals aren't very good, either. I think he ran out of ideas after Follow the Reaper. |
Exactly. His voice sounds horrible now, and I laugh when he tries to do older stuff with his new voice...
|
Have to seen them on this tour Jay?

Same here but I plan on learning more now that I have perfected the bed of razors solo. Well I say that but I really can't perfect it...my LP copy only has 21 frets and Alexi has like 24 so I moved that little bit down |

Eh, I like his voice now. Seems he's developed his own style in a way. Don't get me wrong. The way he sounded on the older albums was badass. But he's coming into his own, I guess. When you hear his voice now, you automatically think "That's Alexi". |
