Sounds like fun. Where did you do your exchange year at?

I get a three day weekend from work. Monday is Memorial Day in the US and I work in a government building.:chug:
Norway. :)

132WalrusesInMexico 05-23-2008 07:50 AM

Nice. I would love to go to Norway someday. The only European country I've been to is Germany. I am going to be studying abroad there in 2009-2010. I'm excited.

the2stranger 05-23-2008 07:52 AM

Cool man, studying what? You're from the states I assume?

I live like 5 minutes from the German border actually.

132WalrusesInMexico 05-23-2008 08:03 AM

I'll be going to the University in Tuebingen. I am studying Archaeology. That university has good programs in the humanities.

gmoneyguy 05-23-2008 08:04 AM

how much does it cost to study abroad?

the2stranger 05-23-2008 08:11 AM
I'll be going to the University in . I am studying Archaeology. That university has good programs in the humanities.
Interesting man.
Good luck with that.

Brain:
It depends on the country, study, facility and avaialble scholarships really.

Bread and Faxes 05-23-2008 08:17 AM

I gotta poop.
how much does it cost to study abroad?
It's like $12,000 a year. It's $10,000 for me to study in the US, so it really isn't that much more.

the2stranger 05-23-2008 08:25 AM
I gotta poop.
Taking a dump is cool.

Wow studying is expensive for you.
Here it's 1500 euro a year. Although that doesn't include books and stuff, but still it's cheaper.

132WalrusesInMexico 05-23-2008 08:30 AM

Yeah. If I was a German citizen, it would cost me a whole 500 euro (I believe). You guys do pay way higher taxes than us, which is why it's cheaper for you to study.

gmoneyguy 05-23-2008 08:34 AM

I got a loan from the government that covers my tuition, and most of my books.

the2stranger 05-23-2008 08:37 AM

Bai gice.

I'm going out for dinner and have a good night and some poon, since I'll be spending the night at the lady's place.
So later all, I'll be back tomorrow.
I have to start paying mine back after graduation
Yeah, that's how it is with me...

By the time I'm done with schooling I'll be like $80,000 in debt because I have to go to grad school.

Actually now that I think about it, it'll probably be more than that.

Aakon_Keetreh 05-23-2008 10:00 AM

Im not taking out a loan. so far i have like 10,000 saved up for school, and my school is like 4,000 a year, so with me working a lot, it will all work out.

132WalrusesInMexico 05-23-2008 10:10 AM

Nice. I wish I would have saved up. I had about $2,000 (most of which was graduation money) when I first started going to University. Half of that went to my laptop.

Aakon_Keetreh 05-23-2008 10:11 AM

I graduate this sunday, and so far ive only made 745$ without my parents giving me anything yet.

Txus 05-23-2008 10:45 AM
