My last FM is really incorrect, has missed out half my week and consists mostly of my sister's music because we share a PC so I won't bother posting it.

My journey to work was one of guilty pleasures:

Kelly Clarkson - Breakaway
Panic! At The Disco - A Fever You Can't Sweat Out
I'm really, really, really looking forward to the new Bronx album. I'm thinking the words "best" and "rock" will be used once I've heard it.

I want it NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW
When is it due out? Their debut was tight as fuck so I can't wait for the new one

Happymeal 05-03-2006 02:21 PM

Murs again plus Dudley Perkins' Expressions, which is a very soul/funk influenced album. I'll be getting some of that Gnarls very soon.

Little Man being Erased 05-03-2006 02:34 PM

The Beatles - Help!

pixiesfanyo 05-03-2006 02:47 PM
this is the most impressive album I ever heard
You've never said this before..

Glitterati 05-03-2006 05:15 PM

Bruce Springsteen - We Shall Overcome: The Pete Seeger Sessions

Just got this today, it's Springsteen's tribute to Pete Seeger. So far, so good. Might review this.

Yeah, that sounds really interesting and good according to the reviews I've read. I'll probably check it out at some point.

Zappa 05-03-2006 05:34 PM

It is Pete Seeger's birthday. I only know this because my english teacher announces famous birthdays.

Little Man being Erased 05-03-2006 06:09 PM

All this talk about the new Tool album has made me want to listen to them again. I don't have the new one yet so I'm listening to Lateralus for the first time in at least a year.

Oh, and I'm loving it.

pixiesfanyo 05-03-2006 07:13 PM

more like latersuckus

Little Man being Erased 05-03-2006 07:30 PM

ohhhhhh

ATM 05-03-2006 07:33 PM

I've been on a huge hip hop kick lately.

Been diggin' a lot of Sage Francis, Mr Lif, MF Doom, and Atmosphere.

Also, Nebula are really sweet.

Zebra 05-03-2006 07:51 PM

Cake - Comfort Eagle

Short Skirt/Long Jacket is one of my least favorites off the album.

ATM 05-03-2006 07:52 PM

I hate that song.

The Great Decay 05-03-2006 08:59 PM

Built to Spill - The Normal Years

BillCosby 05-03-2006 10:06 PM

The The - Dusk

Picked it up for 4 bucks, it's decent so far. I was not previously aware Johnny Marr was involved with this band.

Robert Crumb 05-03-2006 10:23 PM

Herbert - Scale

Interesting. White boy broke beat electro-soul. I think I need to listen to this on the headphones.

Little Man being Erased 05-04-2006 04:38 PM

...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead - Source Tags and Codes

Such a great band.

Mr Observations 05-04-2006 05:48 PM

The Sea and Cake

such a neat band. One Bedroom is excellent.

Little Man being Erased 05-04-2006 07:13 PM

Queens of the Stone Age - Lullabies to Paralyze
Weezer - Weezer (The Blue One)

Iai 05-04-2006 07:14 PM

Laura Veirs - Year Of Meteors

I don't know what I was expecting, but it certainly wasn't anything this good.

Tangy zizzle 05-04-2006 07:33 PM

The Marked Men

This is good music right hurr.

Little Man being Erased 05-04-2006 08:43 PM

Silverchair - Neon Ballroom

Robert Crumb 05-04-2006 09:11 PM

Gnarls Barkley and Herbert. This Herbert thing has more of a Burt Bacharach influence going on than you might expect. It's kinda funny, kinda good, kinda lame at points, too. Couple really solid songs, though.

Daniel! 05-04-2006 09:28 PM

Guitar Wolf - Planet of the Wolves
The Mummies - F'uck the Mummies

These albums reminded me that loud power chords are pretty much the best things ever.

Tangy zizzle 05-04-2006 10:14 PM
The Bronx - The Bronx

eh. Reminds me of Bane kind of.
This proves it, he's just a mother bird. (if you dig?)
Guitar Wolf - Planet of the Wolves
The Mummies - F'uck the Mummies

Both bitchin' discs. Guitar Wolf were really something special.

Calexico - Garden Ruin (very nice)
Flipper - Album: Generic Flipper
Art Brut - Bang Bang Rock n Roll

And still playing the new Marked Men album. It's just too tight not too be played.
