i didn't mean to make it sound like "omg you don't like carlisle noobs" since that's not really my style. i meant it more like "oh i figured y'all had heard them" because i had heard them early on in listening to emo, i think it was like sometime in 05, i know i heard them before i even heard bands like Julia or Rockets and Blue Lights and i think before Still Life. if you don't like the vocals you don't like the vocals, you know whatevs, i was just pointing out that those were a rather common style.

my taste in high school was pretty much similar to now but more specialized and arrogant.

when I was in high-school I wast just starting to be able to listen to faux-emo, faux-hardcore, faux-metal etc without paying attention to media hype and their fans. before that I was kind of a dick about it and didn't listen to A Day to Remember because the band was filled with idiots. now I don't mind the idiots. I've come a long way.

besides, it was a bit hypocritical/retarded that I had no issues listening to uh say Burzum, while poser idiots did bother me.
