I can never comment on people's vocal performances, simply because I swear i have a 1 octave low range.

Yeah, I just realized that. It's still funny though! :upset: Cold and Ugly is one of my least favorites by Tool. It's pretty simple, and there's nothing too catchy about it. :shrug: Still a good song though.

Well, Chris(307) got it about 90% done, but then Cool Edit Pro started puking on him, so now he can't record in that file. I'm not sure what he's going to do, but the answer to your question is no, there are no guitars for Lateralus yet.

Stinkfist and Lateralus need some vocals, so have it at my friend.

Ben- Would you mind uploading 46&2 onto the Lachrymologist soundclick, just so that we have everything in one place? I would appreciate it. :)

Oh yeah, that's right. Well, he's been saying that he would for a while, but I have nothing, so if you want to do that after Lateralus, by all means, you can do both. If he does end up recording it, we shall put who's ever vocals turn out better. :thumb: But yeah, do Lateralus first, if you'd like.

He was going to rerecord them, and we'll use whichever version sounds better.

I actually have an mp3 of merkaba doing the vocals for stinkfist, I think using matter and rounders recording as backing

Tool is an awesome band. one of my top 5 favs. Their just more unique than other bands IMO.

Ugh, I've had part two of that concert forever and never watched it because I wanted part 1 first. But atleast I'm getting part 1 now, even if it's going to take 2 hours to get at 100kbps. And by the way, what plays a .DAT file?

Here's a short clip of me doing some of the screaming/shouting in Lateralus.. It's probably offpitch and a bit shakey since I had nothing to guide me other than my inner ear.. But what do you guys think of the.. timbre(?).. Sound of the scream?

Was nice knifeboy...but it almost sounded like you were holding back slightly...wether it was to try and control pitch i don't know, but if you really let rip it would sound better imo...
