It's not "the site". It's a random site that has ****ty quality and in actual fact is quite well known so it's not like it's are little secret.

I even have it as my homepage.
I know, but it makes me feel special to call it "the site". We listen to it in school all the time.

BludgeonySteve 10-22-2004 07:17 PM

Alice Cooper

edit: You're "special" enough already. Now do you want to be "speacial" and greedy at the same time or just one?

jpj 10-22-2004 07:18 PM

Cool :thumb:

I missed Van Halen, Rush, and The Allmans this summer :upset:

I guess being "special" is enough. Wait by "special" do you mean retarded?

jpj 10-22-2004 07:37 PM

If you go to Vh1.com there is this online radio thing. It's awesome, there is a jamband station, a couple classic rock stations, and every other genre of rock. You don't even have to pay.

EDIT: oh **** triple post

BludgeonySteve 10-22-2004 07:46 PM

You're not allowed to call me a spammer for 3 months now.

That Vh1 site is great :thumb:

jpj 10-22-2004 07:49 PM

I've never called you a spammer. Maybe I have I just can't remember. What's everyone's favorite song to listen to while driving?

BludgeonySteve 10-22-2004 07:53 PM

Truckin'
Life is a highway
Roll On Down The Highway
Drive My Car

Ya dig?

jpj 10-22-2004 07:54 PM

I dig. I like Free Ride and Roadhouse Blues.

clown_phobia 10-22-2004 07:55 PM

hey rock not roll - are you still thinking about getting that Van Halen DVD?

Illmatic 10-22-2004 07:57 PM

I have to say that "Sweet Emotion" is the best driving song I've ever come across.

BludgeonySteve 10-22-2004 07:57 PM

Yes, now stop asking me. You know i'm broke :(

jpj 10-22-2004 07:58 PM

Seafroggys 10-22-2004 09:20 PM

I missed Deep Purple early September and some BOC in March. Pisses me off.

And I missed The Beatles when they came into town, but by 39 years.

Badmoon 10-22-2004 09:31 PM

Done with a review, it is quite large.

rush_2112_mr.slow hands 10-22-2004 09:37 PM

rush all the way, i mean there will probably never be a drummer as good as peart and lifeson is so under rated, and geddys voice will get u every time. theyre songs are more diverse than probably any band out there. thats wut music is missing, nowa days if u throw a couple songs togather that have power chords and u have an album

jpj 10-22-2004 09:41 PM

I agree that Rush is awesome, but there are drummers better than Peart. However they are dead, but that is beside the point. Bonham and Moon were both better than Peart, they were able to sound crazy without using a 100 piece set.

BludgeonySteve 10-22-2004 09:42 PM

Whoever the hell drumms for Jeff Beck is better than Peart. But I mean, Rush is just so awesome it doesn't matter :)

RockAndRoll 10-22-2004 09:42 PM

You missed the best driving song of all time though!
I think you know what i'm talking about! *slides in a ZZ top cd and puts foot to the pedal*

*starts bobbing head and tapping them hands!*

I'm going to tull in 2 weeks ! :)

I agree about Bonham and Moon, I even prefer Baker and Mitchell to Peart. However I find Rush overrated, their music doesn't appeal to me as much as it does so some people.

And one of my favorite songs to listen to while driving is Ramblin' Man by the Allmans.

jpj 10-22-2004 09:44 PM

I want to go to a Tull concert so bad, and ZZ Top is also great to drive to.

It's not so much that they're over rated it's just that their music doesn't appeal to you. The Grateful Dead does not appeal to me, but they are not over rated because I know they were all great musicians and songwriters. Geddy, Alex, and Neil are all at the top of their field when it comes to musicianship.

rush_2112_mr.slow hands 10-22-2004 09:48 PM

if any one is over rated its nivana

rush_2112_mr.slow hands 10-22-2004 09:48 PM

was styx even mentioned?

Broken Arrow 10-22-2004 09:48 PM

Best Driving tune??

Roadhouse Blues(already mentioned),Peace Frog is good, If it's raining Riders on the Strom.

And other stuff I can't think of/ :smoke: :smoke:

Well by overrated I meant that their music doesn't appeal to me, and people rave on about how great Rush is a lot. Not taking away from any of their talent though.

Not in here because we don't talk about Nirvana. Ever.

All that really matters is that you put the pothead Smilies.
